Today, we’re sharing the story of Mari Grug - a journalist, S4C presenter, and passionate advocate for MBC care in Wales. In her new documentary Un Dydd Ar Y Tro (One Day At A Time), Mari speaks candidly about her life following a Metastatic Breast Cancer diagnosis in 2023 - from treatment and work to motherhood and navigating uncertainty. We were honoured to be invited to a special audience with Mari ahead of the programme’s release, and to hear her speak alongside others working to improve MBC outcomes in Wales. Mari continues to support METUPUK’s mission alongside Cancer Research Wales, allied charities and Welsh Government - keeping the voices of those living with MBC at the heart of policy and progress.
