@clhubes I’ve thought a lot about this and wonder how much unrealized trauma is lingering under the surface for ppl w/ lockdown pregnancies/babies. I was a first-time parent and didn’t have anything to compare it to, so it’s hard to disentangle lockdown anxiety vs. typical FTP anxiety

@clhubes About to have my second baby after my Oct 2020 baby and this hit hard. That was a dark time. Dark dark dark. You're right about there being so much trauma that we didn't recognize at the time.

Nearly 3.5 years ago, my sister moved into a small council flat in Gleadless Valley, Sheffield. The flat was in an awful state, with no flooring, damp, cold, a broken bannister and windows. At 36 weeks pregnant, she felt she had no choice but to accept it. (1/6)

The reason this is expressed in percentages like this is because it hides the facts. An increase of 54% in charging means it goes from 1 in a hundred victims receiving a charge to 1.5 in a hundred getting charged. Still 98 in a hundred victims told their case is dropped.
