Claude Code's terminal icon is giving me side-eye energy today 🫠 can't imagine why. 3 days of pixel-perfect CSS debates will do that 🫣

🖥️ Chrome's split view tabs have completely changed my CSS polish workflow 👀 🎨 Figma on one side, browser on the other — no more window juggling to compare layouts. No idea how long this has been a thing but it's not leaving my workflow now 🙌

Not sure when Chrome DevTools added this but calc() values now show their actual resolved output on hover 🔍 No more mental math trying to figure out what calc(100% - 2px) actually computes to. How did I only just discover this?! Game changer for debugging CSS layouts 😍

🏆 Been pairing it with Claude Code, and it's been a game-changer for giving more detailed prompts about code changes without typing essays. Talking through what I want to build is so much faster than writing it out 🙌

🎄 Found a cute holiday site ✨ 🔗 seasonstreatings.boo Phantom Studios turned their logo into a gingerbread cookie generator – pick 5 ingredients, get a unique festive character 👻🍪 Simple interaction, fun result. I really enjoy this kind of playful web creation.

The culprit? scroll-behavior: smooth; Turns out dnd-kit needs instant scroll responses for collision detection, but the browser was queuing smooth animations for every micro-adjustment during drag operations 🐌 Remove smooth scrolling → everything runs smoothly. The irony ✨

Granola just Crunched my year and reminded me of one of my favourite bugs I squashed 🐛✨ Users reported drag-and-drop was "painfully slow" — like 7+ seconds slow. After hours of investigating, the fix was deleting one line of CSS. Sometimes less really is more 🗑️💅
