@PremSportsTV @ospreys @TomShanklin @MartGillingham @PhilipaTuttiett @owaingwynedd Excellent commentary by @MartGillingham and comments by @PhilipaTuttiett on the 2 South Wales games this weekend. Thoroughly researched and well observed. Always interesting comments to fill the downtime in play.

@BBCRadio3 Tom Service - please stop interrupting guests! Let Bill Bailey speak!
English

Today on BBC Radio 3's Saturday Morning, Tom Service meets the superstar cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason, whose new album pays tribute to his cellist hero Mstislav Rostropovich. Tom and Sheku take a walk round Rostropovich's old London neighbourhood to talk Shostakovich, Britten, the cello and how to be creative.

@CPhilpOfficial I am just about to press the unfollow button, as I have had enough of your hypocritical rants. You should be ashamed of yourself, and even though I am one of your constituents I will no longer endure your smug whinging
messages any longer.

@BBCRadio3 what passes for music these days? Just heard James McMillan’s new euphonium concerto. I tried, honestly but it was tuneless meaningless rubbish.
English

@LeeDixon2 so refreshing to enjoy an honest, informed commentary, no matter who you support.

@houghhough @RadioTimes @BBCRadio3 A beautiful Nocturne, Sir S. Reminded me of walking down Exhibition Road from the Proms that very evening having enjoyed VW's A Sea Symphony and thinking what a wonderful world, especially as we had sat next to a distinguished lady, who turned out to be Ursula Vaughan Williams!

@DaveWishingsky @BBCRadio3 Totally agree with these comments and responses. Does anyone at Radio3 care? I'm old enough to remember when interference on radio was a crackle or hiss. Now it's deliberate intrusions. When @PetrocTrelawny says "in 40 seconds I'll be playing Bach..." Almost apologetically!
English

Fuck sake. I don't need to be told how to use a smart speaker over and over again @BBCRadio3
It's getting tedious and making the programmes almost impossible to listen to.
English

@MartGillingham great commentary as ever on the East Wales derby, especially the way you prompted Ellis to share some really fascinating insights into how top players see the game. So enjoyable.

@CPhilpOfficial Chris, you are the perfect definition of a hypocrite. You should be ashamed of yourself.

@bbcproms @the_halle @RoyalAlbertHall @BBCiPlayer Sorry but McMillan’s music leaves me cold. It promises so much but delivers a trite, unstructured mess. All that wonderful resource…sorry for Sir Mark to have to endure such mediocrity on such an occasion.
English

Mahler’s Fifth Symphony is a journey that takes us from tragedy to radiance. Sir Mark Elder conducts @the_halle at the @RoyalAlbertHall.
