@Aquariar @sym_sap An interesting take! We’ve seen lots of feedback from fans, including the contradictory that the symbiote shouldn’t use “we” if it’s talking because Eddie didn’t experience certain things, or that it shouldn’t talk at all. We’re quite content with the approach we’ve taken.

@dakomatic @sym_sap In a story written by Venom co-creator David Michelinie, the symbiote becomes displeased when Eddie uses "I", Eddie immediately apologizes and switches to "We." Since the symbiote dislikes Eddie doing this, it shouldn't do it itself.

@dakomatic @sym_sap In my view, the symbiote shows absolutely no respect for Eddie, it talks about others making excellent hosts right to his face, and now it’s making sexually harassing remarks about Peter and Felicia. As you can see, Venom fans in the comments don't like these interactions.

@Aquariar @sym_sap Would love to get some more insight, the “I” is the symbiote speaking, as the “we” is for both Eddie and the symbiote talking together. The Maximum Carnage moment is definitely brutal and something I would say would nauseate Felicia. Is an apologetic Venom what you envision?

@sym_sap This is a serious problem, stop letting unprofessional people write Venom interactions. A year ago, Rivals Infinite comic's writer made the mistake of using "I" —and somehow, that amateurish error actually made it into the game.@dakomatic
