Beginner artists often reach out to me for advice sending messages like "I'm struggling way too much" But that is actually a great thing!! The professional artists you admire for example, they too struggle, sweat, and curse over the drawings they create. You may be skilled enough to produce good-enough drawings, but naturally you are going to struggle like crazy when attempting something you haven't done countless times before and won't feel comfortable with the final result. You don't have to. Me, for example, I try hard to make my drawings look good enough but I've never felt comfortable except for a few of them. I know that they probably won't be my best work after 1-2 months. And that is the greatest sign that you are growing and learning! I may not be an artist skilled enough to teach others but I know this much: struggling is the biggest sign that you are on the right path.
