Love is in the air at Amazon! 💙 💍 When Beverlyn first joined Amazon, she had two big motivations—helping support her mom through chemotherapy and taking advantage of the company’s education benefits to build her future. Not long after, she encouraged her boyfriend, Casey, to apply too, knowing they could both pursue their degrees with Amazon’s financial assistance while working the same schedule. Even though they worked in different buildings, Beverlyn and Casey found creative ways to stay connected—whether it was through friendly competitions or just dreaming about their future together. Thanks to Amazon’s Career Choice program, which offers reimbursements for books and fees for front-line employees, Casey recently graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering, and Beverlyn is just one year away from earning her BA in data analytics and Public Relations!

Not all heroes wear capes! 🦸‍♂️ Chris is a delivery driver in Michigan who recently ran into a burning building to save the people inside. He was out delivering packages for Amazon customers when he saw an explosion at an apartment complex. As he approached the scene to help, he noticed a man with burned clothing. Chris picked him up and carried him away from the fire, then went back to help a woman with her children. Her daughter told @wxyzdetroit news, "I was crying because I was really scared and then he came over and held my hand and told me it would all be okay." As a humble hero, Chris tried to drive off without recognition, but multiple neighbors stopped him to give him very well-deserved thanks.
