★ BONUS if you squint hard enough there are certain pairings that match up: - cherriez / 05z (harua & taki) as bachisagi - kuma (fuma and k) as kunigiri - jorua (jo and harua) as rinsagi / hiosagi may or may not match but i'd think this is pretty cool

★ HARUA as ISAGI the bunnies!!! not only are their "representative" animals both rabbits (i stand with bunnysagi) but they're both logical and pragmatic in the way they think. plus both are stupidly diligent so there's a bonus point!

★ JO as RIN + HIORI jo is both rin and hiori in different ways. rin because they both come off as standoffish but they're really sweet once u get to know them, and hiori because i'd say jo's real personality is more akin to hiori's, in addtion to similar mannerisms

★ YUMA as CHARLES SNAGGLETOOTH. ok but other than that charles usually exhibits this sort of gremlin, playful energy, and i feel that matches with yuma's playful personality pretty well. again they're both super talented in what they do as well so thats pretty neat

★ EUIJOO as YUKIMIYA wiju and yuki are pretty similar i'd say. not only are their colors both orange, but yuki's character has this sort of gentle but tenacious persistence in pursuing his goal that i feel matches wiju's quiet persistence and diligence pretty well.

★ NICHOLAS as SHIDOU hear me out. ik shidou gets a bad rep for being the source of the freak but i think shidou encapsulates the motif of "authenticity" the best. he isn't afraid to be himself, which i feel aligns with nico pretty damn well. bonus points for being fashion icons

★ FUMA as KUNIGAMI this is a no brainer. not only are their motifs are "hero" but because early on kunigami was established as this level-headed, reliable person, which matches fuma's personality as a sub leader pretty well. plus kunigiri is a popular ship and so is humkeng lol

★ K as CHIGIRI even tho k plays nagi i'd say he's more alike to chigiri. not only are they known for being runners but also their androgynous beauty that makes other people confused sometimes (chigiri referred to as "princess" and k as "unnie" by the fandom)

★ background: blue lock is a sports manga, but instead of the usual teamwork shtick, individualism and egotistical behavior is desired. the main goal of the blue lock program is to find the best striker in the world, and all of this is streamed worldwide for everyone to see.
