People want to blame Howe more than PSR because it’s more fashionable. Had Howe been able to lure his first choice targets with the wages 15th placed Man Utd and other teams were able to do, we wouldn’t be in this position. The PL made these rules to stifle us - blame them more.

It really baffles me how people can disagree with this.
Progress has never and will never be a straight upward trajectory. He has gave us the best day of our lives and countless unbelievable memories.

NUFC qualifying for the European Conference League next season would be a poor result financially and hamper their ability to spend.
Europa League would be ok. Just. But the Conference League, with the new SCR regs coming in, should be given a proper swerve.

@Toontone100 This window having to replace the dead wood and out of contract players with new players that will be squad players is going to fill our PSR allowance. Just cant see how we find the funds for top players on top of that. Summer window is gonna be a tough watch

#nufc haven’t read it yet but love what I can see so far - nufc biggest problem this season has NOT been manager.
And on that subject if their desired aim is to be one of the top clubs in the world in 4 years (cough cough) , I look forward to the 4/5 top signings every year. 🤔

@TBOTT_ We knew this 3 months before the CL season started. Why did we not have the squad ready for it? Baring in mind 2 years before we had the exact same problem... No lesson learned! Fail to prepare, prepare to fail!

The difference this season is that we’ve played twice a week for four months, and it’s absolutely killed our entire game.
We’ve a (fairly thin) squad of players built around high intensity football, which you just cannot do twice a week for more than half the season.

Last summer Eddie failed to sign the players we needed to improve this season, could argue we regressed instead.
I have zero confidence this summer will be any different. I genuinely fear more of the same.
