@echoeslament Don’t feel bad for leaving an FC. If it’s not working out for you it’s totally reasonable to bounce. And you can stay in touch with anyone you did make friends with even if you leave.

okay so i have the tiniest question- i've been conflicted on leaving a FC that i've been apart of since I first started, not because of anything bad, but because it's not really...active? Like ppl log on and off of course, and put on the bonuses, but that's it-

@RaypEatNanaya Yeah, people need to stop going to content creators for advice in general. Listening to an opinion is okay, but you have to come to your own conclusions about something, not just parrot what you hear from a personality online with ulterior motives.

People will tell you a game sucks because of a youtuber they watched and expect you to take them seriously.

Meu jrpg favorito e segundo jogo favorito da vida é Chrono Cross. Zerei ainda criança, sem entender absolutamente nada em inglês e fiz o bad end. Quando saiu a Radical Dreamers Edition poucos anos atrás eu zerei pela segunda vez, já entendendo por completo a história e fazendo o good ending. Apesar de curtir muito outros grandes jrpgs, como Metaphor, Persona 5 e Final Fantasy X, nenhum deles mexe cmg da mesma forma que Chrono Cross. Recomendo MUITO a todos os amantes de jrpg que ainda não jogaram!

Sometimes people just don't get along, and it's really not a big deal, you can just move on and find people you do enjoy spending time with instead of fighting with someone trying to get them to understand a point they're not interested in hearing.

@onyxicca He has no friends or life outside of the internet, the only women that probably want to get with him are almost certainly golddiggers. He probably hasn't had a genuine life experience in a very long time. Goes to show that money and fame don't equal true happiness.

A lot of people are secretly afraid that they’ll spend years chasing success and discover they neglected the parts of life that make success feel meaningful in the first place. Money, attention and an audience can change your life, but they do not automatically give you connection, purpose or people who truly know you when the performance is over. It is something worth thinking about.

Clair Obscur is a perfect example of how you can take old concepts but create something new, fresh, and original. We need more games like that in the future.

Sometimes things are just meant to stay in the past or die. It's like trying to re-animate a dead relative who you loved dearly. Sounds good in theory, but it's really just making everything worse and delaying the natural process of moving on with your life.

Although I'm excited for remakes of old favorites at times, overall; I wish the entertainment industry would stop with remakes/remasters/reboots. Mostly because they tend to not be very good, but we really do need to encourage new, original creative visions and ideas.

@UltimaShadowX My favorite thing about the quests in Limsa is how they talk about the importance of being professional and abandoning their former pirate/bad ways, but when they get upset, they start swearing like sailors before they correct their behavior.

Average Limsa Lominsa NPC: “Oi’ ‘venturer, mind fetchin’ me ‘ottle ‘o liquor? Chat wit’ Nrvnqsr and S'dhodjbi ‘cross the ‘all fer the good stuff. Nothin’ like a good pint of Fralskelgiv ale to get some succor from all those shite-faced pirates round ‘ere.”

@AerithClouds I like that it didn't feel forced, too. It felt completely natural and believable.

I’m still so happy that Final Fantasy XVI had an explicit on screen gay romance. It’s genuinely so heartwarming to me and a huge step forward for representation in mainstream media.
