I am increasingly convinced that the recklessness exhibited by Danfo drivers is being enabled by some LASTMA officials. The level of confidence with which these drivers engage in such behavior, even in the presence of certain officials, is quite alarming.

There’s a reason why some of us born in Lagos are angry with the way things are being run by our leaders in the North! There’s a level of excellence in that city that’ll never make you settle for less. Even though it’s not perfect and every region has its peculiar problems, we should learn from the drive and vision of Lagos and its successive governments.

Lagos is positioning itself as West Africa’s digital hub, with more than 20 operational data facilities and a market valued at $374m this year, drawing global firms including Google.

In March alone, Eti-Osa received nearly ₦2 billion from FAAC (₦1,943,613,804.20). Yet when a tree fell and blocked traffic for three straight days at Bishop Oluwole street in VI, not a single local government official was anywhere to be found. Now, I’m told a few men with cutlasses from @LASPARKLagos are doing everything they can to clear the road. Local governments in Lagos are badly misgoverned, with little to no accountability to the people. Does Eti-Osa look like a local government that has received almost ₦25 billion in one year, excluding IGR?

Jumia Food shutdown wasn’t a failure , it was a massive data for food delivery in Nigeria. After years of operation with 110,000+ vendors, Jumia Food exited Nigeria and 6 other African markets. Here’s the full post-mortem: how it rose fast and why it collapsed. Thread 👇

That reminds me of an egbon who once shared a story from his days as a branch head. One afternoon, he stepped out of the office to attend a job interview, only to arrive and find three members of his branch there for the exact same reason.
Not the little B 💕✨@BlehisBack

I was asking a colleague last week or so when he was complaining about how pharmacist don’t get paid well, and it’s always around 200k-300k monthly. So I asked him if he opened a pharmacy today, would he pay 1m per month to just the pharmacist alone which would be 12m per annum, and you definitely would have other staff. He kept quiet. We can’t defy economics this thing is simple but you people never have a clear perspective.
