@dampgnat Hi Reece.I am reaching out on behalf of my daughter Jess who is looking for work experience in the short term & a potential apprenticeship/internship in concept art. She has already completed work experience at Electric Square. Would you have anything available ?

Yesterday marked one month since we announced The Mermaid's Tongue. How's it gone since then? Really well so far! It already has 6x as many wishlists as Tangle Tower had at launch, and it's now the ~1400th most wishlisted game on Steam (and climbing) Excited for the year ahead!

@KupoGames @ASFFest It was the festival’s first year showcasing games. They also have a VR lab. Really nice vibe and great to see short films & animations in theatres again.

@Panda_Dude17 It worked well on AppleTV, so it's certainly suited. Unfortunately there is no pipeline for the engine to work on any console, until tech finds a way around it 🤞

@dampgnat Is there any chance the game could get a console port in the future?

@TomNullpointer Ah right, yeah I guess it's slow going to start with but gets better as your Blueprint framework solidifies. Hope it also helps with memory management!

@dampgnat I mean its good when you are using it with game logic you've already sorted or pre-existing paradigm (like their built in FPS or w/e). Buts kinda tedious for doing any low level stuff (in these cases youd probably be advised to write the Blueprint classes to handle that)

Spent the weekend getting into Unreal, I made my own c++ Blueprint classes and then made another bit of game functionality with Pure blueprints. C++ compilation is pretty slow for me to iterate at speed, but Blueprint graphing is fast! It reminds me of using Max/msp

@TomNullpointer Is Blueprint like using playMaker? I gave up on that when it took so much longer to do the equivalent of a simple bit of code.
