Frustrating that I feel so disassociated with the #readingfc team atm. Even last year was better with Bindon, Mbengue, Knibbs etc. Going back further to compare it to 106 & title winning teams where you had players who’d die for the badge and produce results - is a world away..

@_Luke1871 Spot on. Defensive Wing is a liability whilst attacking Wing is probably one of the first names on a teamsheet! Can’t believe it hasn’t changed all season especially when we’re so uncreative This route 1 football is anti-football, it doesn’t work for us & we need a 2nd ST up top

@dan1871_ Been saying this all season, even under Hunt. Either it’s Wing’s personal request to play like that or they just love the blind long balls. Attacking Wing and defensive wing are two entirely different players

Can someone also explain to me why we keep playing Lewis Wing (#10) often as the deepest player on the pitch? Either he’s a good number 10 who can help score & should play as such or he WANTS to be a CDM, in which case he’s not good enough there. #readingfc

I’m the biggest fan of @RCouhig & co. They’ve done so much immense good for the club. The one thing I’d say is this isn’t “football for the people”. That said, I’m more than happy to get behind them as I’m confident in their decisions and given time everything will come right.

As much as I’d love to be playing good quality attacking football, and with every passing week I feel Leam is less and less the person for that job - Rob Couhig will not sack him anytime soon. I just can’t see it happening. #Readingfc

The lack of movement from the defence and midfield is genuinely worrying. When we have the ball and end up hoofing it long, these players just stand as solitary as statues waiting for the ball to come to them. No wonder we end up hitting and hoping for the best so much

Important win for #Readingfc Really does feel like we’re playing a more polished and better version of “Hunt ball”. That’ll be enough to see out a lot of teams but there comes a point where we need to change it up.
