I am beginning to question whether the current narrative team has actually played World of Warcraft in any meaningful capacity.

I used to get cmms from people wanting their OCs drawn mostly, and you'd be surprised at how many people have so many good ideas but don't have the skills to bring them to life, and when you get to work on cmm that's an amazing concept and you see it being brought to life by your hands, it's a great feeling.

Honestly I would open comms but I don’t even get the concept of it. Like people who do comms regularly (once or twice a week at least) what do your customers want? Is it typically their OC or like existing characters in your style or what?

@acaciadust Back when I used to take cmms I had very low prices and some people still asked for free art, also I had a discount system but some people tried to game it and discouraged the f out of me when I realized they were only getting shitty cmms to game the cmms.

Clients: “your commissions are so cheap, you’re under pricing yourself” Me: i can pay my bills with just 2-3 banner commission.. I dont think you guys understand how bad my countries currency is.. i try to make affordable art so i am able to pay bills every month.

I understand the argument that there are also warcraftier looking things in the game still, but where is the line that it does become reasonable to say that, like, these ones do seem to be a pretty frequent thing at this point? Also I don't think the reasoning of that argument is all that different to "there are also free rewards in the game, don't like it don't buy it" as pertains to sold cosmetics. There is obviously an opportunity cost of something cooler. Blizzard doesn't add infinite new rewards to the game.

Here's a visual comparison between some Pokemon models with their XXS and XXL sizes from Champions applied. The game applies a multiplier between x0.8 and x1.2 to the models' scale depending on their size value

Nah babygirl, the trading post started with cool/badass shit even from Feb 2023, the first fruity shit we got it on Feb 2024 but that was understandable for valentines', we didn't get any more fruity shit all year until December 2024 and then the fruity shit hasn't stopped. @dan1_art @tomkektv They straight up said that the whole point of trading post is so they can fruity stuff back when they release Trading Post. That's the whole point. It was meant to be stuff related to Valentine, Chrismas, etc. All the dark and edgy you see are from Halloween or Summer Fire Fest.
