Our team has been busy over the past months, and we’re about to ship two big new features to the Cycles Pay app: For business accounts, we're adding dynamic pricing for invoices. Instead of a single fixed amount, an invoice can carry early-payment discounts and late fees around the due date, set as percentages or fixed amounts. The payer can see the full pricing ladder and decide when it best suits them to pay. For personal accounts, we're adding Splitwise-style expense splitting. You’ll be able to add friends to a group and track shared costs (dinner, vacation, a night out, etc.) Cycles tracks who owes whom across the group. When it comes time to settle, Cycles nets the balances to reduce how much money needs to move. Both come back to the same idea behind Cycles: payments are obligations, and obligations don't have to be settled instantly. Once you separate obligations from settlement, payments become more flexible and funds can be made more productive, generating yield up until the point of settlement. These are two easy low-hanging fruits to kickstart a long roadmap to make the Cycles protocol the open clearing network for on-chain finance.
