FIFA proposing Israel vs. Palestine match for opener of youth football festival - The Athletic I strongly support FIFA's proposal for Israel and Palestine to play the opening match of the inaugural Under-15 Football Festival in the United States. I encourage FIFA to stand firmly behind this idea and do everything possible to make it happen. I also hope President Trump and the United States, as hosts of the tournament, will personally support this initiative and help create the conditions for it to succeed. It will not be easy. Both football associations may face pressure and hesitation. But sometimes leadership means creating opportunities that politics alone cannot create. Imagine that moment: the Palestinian and Israeli national anthems played side by side, the two flags flying together, and young players stepping onto the field not as enemies of the past, but as representatives of a different future. This match will not solve the conflict. But it could become the trigger for a new page between Palestinians and Israelis. I support it. I call for it. I encourage it. Nice new paper from Qwen team, that explores alternative approaches to arrive at Hybrid GA / GatedDeltaNet architecture. They ended up matching Qwen3.5 1:3 ratio with 1:7 using per-head selection, reaching better long context performance at 512k. This reminds me of LongCat ZigZag Attention (LoZA) of mixing GA and SWA layers in irregular fashion by learnable gate, but here they do it on a per head basis.
