Nothing annoys me more than when someone expects you to be okay with something that they wouldn’t be okay with if it was done to them.

We’re taught not to burn bridges because we might need people later. But I pray I never have to depend on anyone who has hurt or humiliated me. May God bless me with abundance so I never have to be in that position.

Normalize seeing someone's lack of effort as their lack of interest in you regardless of what they say. Giving you all of the right words, but none of the right actions is called manipulation. If they wanted to, they would. Period.

Nothing is more challenging than really working on yourself😭 trying to break bad habits you picked up, trying to forgive, to change your thought process, work on your attitude and just being honest with yourself about things you need to work on within yourself😮‍💨

I read this post and it said, “I dream of never being called strong again. I’m exhausted by strength. I want support. I want love. I want understanding. Not patted on the back for how well I take a hit or how often.” And I felt that.

You deserve a calm love with someone who is good for your mental health and nervous system. Someone who is your safe space, your best friend, and brings peace to your soul during stressful times.

I don’t hold nobody to a high standard anymore. Everybody humans doing humanlike stuff. The less you expect, the less chances you’ll be disappointed. I hold myself to the highest standard tho, & make sure I’m operating in my best as much as possible. ❤️
