I can't help but feel personally burned by the Claude Code changes announced today. We put so much work into wrapping the (atrocious) Claude Agent SDK in T3 Code. It was the ONLY path they supported, so we made it work. It was hell. Now our users are getting their rate limits cut by 40x, despite us doing everything right. I listened to the Claude Code team. I had my issues with their direction, but I trusted them and took them at their word. I will never make that mistake again. Until we see significant change, it is safe to assume any statement from an Anthropic employee is a lie on a timer. The rug will be pulled, no matter how many promises are made beforehand.

like literally the primary selling point of Raycast was it not being webslopview It's fine for the AI chats cause it's genuinely not fucking possible to make a performant rich text scrollview with AppKit But man Gonna suck to have to use Spotlight again :/

Raycast 2 is built on React?! Been using Raycast 2.0 for a few days and its noticeably very snappy Today I was shocked to see they have built it with Web Views and a Node.js backend. You know I had to crack it open. Light native wrapper. Rust where it matters. No electron of Tauri.

@weswinder @buildwithnora Yes I think they will end up reverting this decision as it won’t sit well with a lot of people. There are some valid reasons for trying to keep people inside there own tools but people should always have the freedom to pick there own.

anthropic just downgraded claude code subs programmatic usage previously used your full rate limits which was something like a 5-10X discount vs api costs now ALL programmatic usage is capped at $20/$100/$200 in api costs (a single opus session can easily burn $20) not good

Dear X, Why tf are you making it so hard for me to give you my money?????? This is the same card I have been paying for my Premium membership for years (and currently) and Its a debit not a credit. I have tried contacting your support which is supposed to be "premium" since I'm paying 50/m for it but nothing. left on seen ffs Support is horrible, and not helpful, I have better chances of talking to a wall I am currently paying around 600+ in monthly subscriptions with this card with zero issues. X is the only platform giving me issues for absolutely Zero reason

I should do a course on CLI authentication with custom OAuth, all of this can be automated, cli opens the browser, creates a loopback server and handles communication with the CLI to show success / error state Your users deserve better
