@margatesunsets I bought a Booster Pack, like jump leads, on ebay (ad attached). It works, supposedly even with a flat battery. Charges from a USB charger, then stays fully charged until needed, Can also charge mobile phone from it, and it has a light. If confident to use it, worth considering?

@dancludlow Engine on my car, slow to turn over...starter engine or whatever it's called? another reason not to go to David's. Will go to local garage 2tomorrow. It's sitting in a garage a lot & I'm not using it as much or there's a problem. I see 💰🙄

@margatesunsets Self Starter, it could be a tired battery, or faulty cell, but probably it hasn't had much chance to charge back up if not using the car much. No lights left on, I take it. My mum switched her boot light on once and forgot it, Couldn't be seen unless boot opened. Just a thought.

@margatesunsets I think the Sea Breeze could be cooler there. Waiting for better weather is sensible I think, Parking could be an issue on a Bank Holiday? Look forward to the Beer Festival.

@dancludlow The coastal winds here probably make it chillier. I enjoyed my short walk & slobbing a bit. Bank Holiday after all. D & I chatted on the phone for quite some time. Could have gone over but we decided to wait 4 better weather..beer festival soonish.

@dancludlow Did a quick walk to the local shops via the sea front today. On the top path. Too eery down below without someone being around. Had my scarf & woolly hat on! Similarly dressed indoors, so no windows open yet. It's quite chilly now!

@dancludlow Only just seen this, Monday! My new double feather summer duvet washed up a treat. Still got my winter duvet on. Not swapping it yet. Its Been quite chilly overall 2day. Whilst I've had windows open, they're all shut at night. The air vent is shut 4 now 2 🥶

@margatesunsets Not much happening here either. A few cars passing, but only Normal weekday traffic, I feel. Birds are noisy though, singing all day.

@pelliott1954 @JamesMelville Two Wrongs don't make a Right. The Tories quite rightly were crushed at the last General Election, punished bythe Electorate. If there's any natural Justice at all, the electorate will Wipe out Labour at the next. See what Thursday brings as a taster.

@margatesunsets Anna starts her day outside unless raining. She's not great at staying in, but with her Shingles she decided to stay in and take it easy, so far she's happily enjoying being in. I could happily stay in forever, so much to do, learn and explore, time just flies.

@dancludlow I hate being in all day. Didn't walk on the sea front-weather a bit too iffy. Nipped out to local shops though. Had a coffee out. It pelted down with rain & there was thunder. Just came home. Forthcoming weather not looking good. Colder maybe.

@margatesunsets I think they'll be OK, they have a good team that work together well. Have recently brought in a new key player too. Not seen thunder here. Just looked outside (00.30) and its misty, high humidity, from feel. Yes BH Monday tomorrow, Easily forgotten after being in a few days.

@dancludlow Harry's been here 2. What had been an airing cupboard years ago, old tank taken out before I bought, has been sorted. New see through storage box was the right choice. Loo rolls, bulbs & oddments. Shoe cleaning box remains. Plastic shopping bags gone 👍
