remembered a band today. i love to remember bands, its the great American pastime! today I remembered This is Me Smiling via Chicago. saw them open for the Hush Sound as a teenager in 05. liked them so much that we spent the next few years catching all of their MI shows! wow, that was almost 20 years ago. they were always very nice to our little family. wonder what they’re up to youtu.be/BIhb3w_8c54?si…

I #votedforharris but no matter who wins I’m at peace with the outcome and I don’t hate anyone for voting differently than I did.

I see many wasting time and energy trying to predict what the market will do based on who wins the election. The harsh reality is, even if we know the winner, we can't predict how the market will react.
Even if we guess correctly on the winner and predict the market reaction accurately, executing it is a whole different ball game.
Just because you're right doesn't guarantee making money; chances are you could be right and still lose. It's best to wait and let the dust settle.

@JimScalpert It did seem a little ridiculous and I now understand that I fell for the joke.

@elonmusk @lexfridman Why stop there? Why not try to live on the sun?
English

@lexfridman Have you read Asimov’s Foundation books?
They pose an interesting question: if you knew a dark age was coming, what actions would you take to preserve knowledge and minimize the length of the dark age?
For humanity, a city on Mars. Terminus.

@DividendGrowth It sounds like you haven’t been that creative with your free time.

@RichardMoglen @mrkstructure @Deepvue Trying to get in too soon just chops me up. Nothing like being in a rush to lose $$.

@mrkstructure @Deepvue Wedge pops and ema crossbacks for the win.

And I thought Van Halen’s rider for brown M&Ms was a little over the top.

@HeidiPriebe1 This translates to quitting caffeine and alcohol for me. Still working on the dancing part.

@christineist I look for a way to be present without taking on other people's emotions. Simply being there, listening, and allowing them rather than reacting. Not always easy, but when I can get there it is often the strongest and most helpful position.
