@gregabodKrane @devonwoodsmoke @MEATERmade I think they are possibly easier to get and there’s more choice in the UK. We did bbq on Christmas day this year, no snow was quite mild. Neighbours thought we were quite mad!

Following the brilliant Marcus @devonwoodsmoke recipe for hanging leg of jamb. First attempt using a Victorian clockwork rotisserie worked a treat. 6 hours and caught fire 3 times but a great success. Note the @MEATERmade probe very useful .

Just starting my journey and it’s great to have so many great chefs out there. Looking for a clockwork chicken rotisserie, one on e bay but too much for me I’m afraid.

@gregabodKrane @devonwoodsmoke @MEATERmade Thanks it’s clockwork, has a key in the side and only operates when weight is hung below it. Fully wound clicks back and forth for about 20 mins. Used above a fire in old fireplaces, quite easy to get plenty on eBay.
