I am feeling very unmotivated and tired and burnt out lately. I don't like this feeling.

@AlliAlliG We can’t be 100% all the time. I’ve been where you are. It’s okay to take advantage of lulls to take a breather, or manufacture your own lulls by setting boundaries (invisible or in your calendar). And an antidepressant that treats anxiety doesn’t hurt to give that extra help.

Im also feeling really anxious and frustrated and like im dropping the ball in my work and personal life and while I am trying my best I’m not doing my best and I just hate feeling like I’m missing expectations and falling short.

I was the Campaign Manager for the Provincial Conservatives in BC. This morning, I personally took part in counting some of the final ballots in Surrey-Guildford. @ElectionsBC staff were all incredibly diligent in their work and very thorough in ensuring transparency. I feel confident in their work. We now await a judicial recount in at least one riding. Regardless of whether we pull that off or even if David Eby wins government by one single vote—this is democracy. We will have more updates as more information is made available.

@AlliAlliG We’re DINKs and I’ll never buy another new car. Just so $$$ - I’ll take a used that’s 2-3 yrs old instead.

How do people afford new cars? Is this a 2 income household thing, no kids? Honestly. I make a good income and between rent and childcare and other fixed costs the idea of a car payment would leave me tight every month with nothing to save (is that it? Is no one saving?)
