@downbadcomment Even fat girls!?! Heavens. How awful for him. Yeah, it's not the height. 😅
English

@pelinylm06 How did they change sizes from pme picture to the other, lol.
English

@BernieSanders Oh, good. It wasn't a top issue for me, but it was super cringe.
English

@GarrettPetersen I didn't have a problem with this text. When I was young guys would literally call you up by finding your number in the phone book (lol, that sounds insane now) after a chance meeting. I got weirded out by all his subsequent texts tho. He sent like 3 or 4 more after this.

@RealPostFolder This reminded me of how 12 year old girls talk about their "relationships" at my kitchen table. Like, "Hm, interesting. Hey, anyone want a snack? I've got apples, bananas,..." 🤣
English

@bigcontentguy I love this for us. ...and by us I mean humans, lol. Pope Francis was great, but Pope Leo is next level.
English

it’s crazy that i was so used to popes being like 372-year-old tiny italian men who just wear the little hat and bless things. now the pope likes baseball and gives out advice like uncle jessie it’s so sick
Pope Leo XIV@Pontifex
Deep inner suffering inevitably arises when the human person is reduced to performance, consumption, or a statistical datum. Many young people today live under the yoke of expectations to perform, immersed in an exasperated competitiveness that generates anxiety, fear of not measuring up, and disorientation.

@DocLibertarian @WestsideLAGuy This. Most people, regardless of gender, will respond to a high value free offer. Particularly people who "ghost" others.
English

@WestsideLAGuy I’m going to the Lakers game, have courtside seats. Want to come?
English

I love this so much. I need to build this for my house
Teddy@WarnerTeddy
i mounted a tiny microphone on my apartment balcony to listen for any birds passing by and built a site to collage them as they're heard

@AmberWoods100 You would tax where the money comes from not residency. That's already on the books. The issue is enforcement not taxation.

This is an awful situation and I feel bad for this guy
However, “women should lower their standards” and “women should marry men they aren’t attracted to” is one of the major talking points of rightoid bro Twitter
And this is what it looks like if women do that
“Bad” Billy Pratt@KILLTOPARTY
Sorry, pal

@RolfHaltza @gatojeton Please get to your point if you have one.

@danforthmedia @gatojeton Work is not the same as employment.

@SteveSkojec @kalezelden Rare books, like the specific book is a rare copy or, as I suspect, out of print books that they digitized?
English

To be clearer about my question:
I think it's good that they scanned old, rare books. Books that almost certainly weren't about to be snatched up by anyone else.
I think it's good that the knowledge from those books was retained. Or that it would be used to train AI models at all.
I don't know of a good way to scan books that keeps their spines in tact. I've done it with an out of print book of my own that I wanted to make sure I could retain before it started falling apart.
And a spineless book is, essentially, a pile of loose papers. I guess they could have paid to have them re-bound?
I'm just trying to understand the villainy part.
