Spent an incredible couple of days volunteering at @Wonkhe @LondonU Festival of Higher Education. In @livia_scott_ words, the Glasto of HE. 1st class discussions with HE and Policy wonks from every angle of Senate House. A real highlight and a pleasure to be part of it!

Great to work with colleagues across @sunderlandsu and @sunderlanduni to deliver the first of a series of Representation Roundtable events today. Brilliant discussion and engagement across all areas of the room this afternoon!

Delighted to have had a tour today with the Unions CEO and get a look at our new Students’ Union space as part of the new campus project we will be moving into in Canary Wharf in 2025. Huge props to my wonderful boss (pictured) for being such a fab line manager. V lucky.

As someone that did really struggle academically in my school days and didn't really know where I might end up, I am always happy to be a sounding board to talk through some options. Just drop me a dm.

If anyone would of told me I would be working in and around Higher Education when I got my GCSE results 15 or so years ago, I would of absolutely disagreed with them, but here we are and I love it!

A thread. Congrats to all students getting GCSE Results today. For those that didn't get what they expected, they do not define your future steps in any way. I really struggled, and re-sat most of mine. At this time, Uni couldn't of been further away from me if it tried.

Our team has embarked on a tour across India and Nepal during August. Their goal? To showcase our courses, including our new offerings in Nursing and Fintech, and to reveal our exciting plans for a new London campus launching in early 2025. #UoSIL
