Everyone is human, everyone is entitled to opinions, opinions that can’t be wrong or right. I’m not a bandwagon jumper, I say it as it is and people don’t like it. Issue about last night is how hypocritical & fickle our fanbase actually is. For weeks, fans had been glazing Darwin Nunez for the improvement in his link-up play, the composure and the less chaotic approach. Even when he wasn’t in the line-up, fans said how much he was missed. Last night, yes he was shockingly poor however, the fact that this slaughtering was triggered from a chance that another attacker should put away prior to his opportunity is crazy. This isn’t just for Darwin Nunez by the way, Liverpool scored 3. THREE GOALS should be enough to win any game! The lack of questioning/criticising to the whole defence and goalkeeping standards is actually hilarious. But, let’s blame the attacker who had one actual sole chance last night because fans want him gone. Absolutely nothing to do with Gomez, Quansah, Kelleher, Robertson errors or Diaz giving away a stupid free kick yet again or Jones holding the ball and losing it to let Newcastle have a free run. Social media put blinkers on and each and every idiot jumps on the bandwagon to because they’re desperate to gain followers and recruit more toxic people to fuel the agendas. Liverpool are top of the league, 7 points clear going into a period that historically holds the outcome on the end of the season. But, here we are witnessing fans getting on the back of a single player because points got dropped. Fucking wrap up. It’s a long season, you’re starting early with the onslaught, and quite frankly from the outside it probably looks embarrassing to rival fans when everything has been near to perfect so far.
