The Rovers love in saying Elliot Anderson is the “best Rovers player ever” needs to stop. Bloke was insane for us yes. But he was raw, he played 6 months. These young uns should have seen Vitas Astavejevs and Mark Walters And before them many legends like Bradford, Biggs, etc

@BristolBomber @bs4_gas Straight away you could see Andersons quality. I said early on he would play for England, you could see it then. I think people only remember the good points of those two and blank out everything else🤣. Neither could defend, Wally couldn't run🤣 Anderson better all round

@BristolBomber @bs4_gas That team was the first to go down to league 2 in our history and finished near the bottom of league 2. Walters was past it when he signed and had a good few months, scored some free kicks and then was rubbish. Vitālijs started class on the ball, but couldn't defend.

I will say this.....the pace and intensity of the Premier League is completely different to any other league in Europe. I think PSG, Bayern, Madrid and Barca have such a big advantage in Europe having not to deal with this intensity week in week out Fair statement or BS ?

@stewartflaherty @ade_oladipo1 What are you on about? Spurs won it last season. The standard is poor in the Europa League 4. Since it changed 3 out of the 4 finalists are English and rotated their sides against poor sides. Spurs were in the champions League, so couldn't rest players like Forest did.

@stewartflaherty @ade_oladipo1 The English champions League side players have played more than any other players. Any other English sides or any other champions League sides. It's proven to be a faster league and players run more than any other league. It's not hard to work out 🤣

@stewartflaherty @ade_oladipo1 They rotated players more as the opponents have been rubbish. Now more clubs are in the champions League and none drop into the Europa League the standard is poor. Today's why the other countries can do that in the league. Do that in the Prem and they will lose.

@SportsPeteO I doubt very much we are in for a striker. CEO confirmed a week ago today, we are keepijg all our players under contract. We already have Oseni, Pepple and Tolaj. Strikers arent what we are looking for.

It's proven that the premier League is faster and players run more. It's more intense. So, no wonder players are fatigued late in the season. Not hard to work out🤣

@stewartflaherty @ade_oladipo1 I said they are tired by this stage of the season. They were good during the group stage. Not looking as sharp now. They beat athletico 4 0 in the group. Going for four trophies was always going to catch up with them. City have looked fresher since playing once a week
