@Mike_Rosko_ I mean yeah there's def more to it than just that. That sensitivity to realness. But adhd feels like a very strong amplifier when it comes to that. It sets the bar very high to what does.

i finally realized a main reason why i self-sabotage (besides childhood trauma) and it’s simple… if something doesn’t feel 10000% authentic, i naturally reject it at my core

As a little girl I always played with dolls. I treated my favourites like real babies, pushing them in prams, propping them up in high chairs, and singing them lullabies to sleep each night. Being a mother was always my biggest dream, my absolute greatest longing, my known purpose in life. Motherhood is in our nature as women. Eleven years ago today my first son was born. From the very first moment I held him in my arms I felt a sense of fulfilment I genuinely cannot put into words. It has been the greatest blessing and privilege to raise him and his four brothers. Honestly, I can think of no greater calling in life for a woman than to give herself absolutely to mothering her children. There is one ideology that recognises the value of motherhood and rightly elevates mothers and their unparalleled ability to raise up children. I am proud of my motherhood and proud to call myself a National Socialist. 🤍🙋🏼‍♀️

@natalie_Zion_ Of course please do. Why should you live between strangers. You have Israel. Autonomous Oblast. Maybe even Ukraine soon. Where you can live among your kin.

Think it's time for us Jews to leave Britain. Let them find out what happens when we stop doing everything for our country and leave. Look at the Middle East once we left those countries. Betrayal is a word that doesn't even come close to what British Jews are feel today

@RadarHits You can’t seriously pretend Syria was freer with Assad. He gassed and exterminated 500,000 of his own people the year before he escaped.

@SupahKaz @mr_james_c It's just a gas. Which is hard to store, basically impossible to transport and inefficient to make. If you don't need to move it you can find a solution for storage. The bigger the better, making large storage feasible. Inefficient to make is ok if you have energy excess at times

The battery capacity to provide Britain with 2 weeks of electricity during winter would cost more than £2tn. Which is 20x the cost of building enough nuclear power stations to provide all the UK's electricity needs.
William Oakley@WillTatton

@Jimmyrinse1 @MorganE07969703 @7Kiwi Batteries are a really cheap way to benefit the grid, but I'm just talking about being able to move power efficiently so we don't have to turn off perfectly good wind farms. Did you really expect our grid built in the 60s to last forever?

Another from the genre "Hey let's build expensive, complicated system instead of simple, less complicated system"
daniel@daniel9990_

@mr_james_c Battery capacity for more than 2 days doesn't make much sense. For renewables to store seasonally you'd want like hydrogen storage or something like that, where capacity cost doesn't scale linearly like batteries.

@mr_james_c Batteries to balance the grid intraday could actually bring a lot of cost savings. That's why storage for up to a day is a good idea.

It's not retarded in Northern Europe, it's a necessity. The UK frequently goes days without sun and wind in the middle of winter and weeks without are not unheard of. The UK relies on gas to supply up to 100% capacity when there's no renewables, which is to say, the basis of the UK grid is gas. So why build batteries at all if they just add cost and complication to a system that is already costly and complicated? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunkelfla…
