@leonard_coder @Adriksh This used to be an issue, but even clang at default warning level will complain about this. Dunno about MSVC, but I have stopped using it :)

@Adriksh that's why I always write compare with immediate value in the reverse order to avoid this. if ( 1 == ok )

The way I do lots of my navigation is that everything is on a grid, to do certain actions (like changing a slider) I currently just "prevent" the grid navigation in left / right if it's a horizontal slider. It breaks the flow slightly (you can still navigate up / down between next widgets) but overall it "feels" better to do it that way which is why I picked it. I have been thing if it's still best to just require to "hold" the button to do the changes. It's a struggle :)

@s4schoener Ah yes, I should have clarified that. You have 4 direction buttons an one (what I call) action button.

I have been writing one myself as well. My UI has to be fully working with gamepad and only a *single* button which shapes lots of the design, but I also support full keyboard navigation as it's essentially the same because of it. In my case I use Clay as the base for everything layout, but I have a tiny wrapper on top of it to make it slightly more ergonomic. I also do tiled rendering, but as my main target only has a CPU I do everything tiled, but SIMD :)

Was eager to start my week before I realized that @github now refuses to let me see all issues on my own repository??!! It's unacceptable and very stressful. My issues are carefully labelled, but not all interactions are based on label/keyword searches. Let me see my Issues.

My Christmas break is finally over, but it's been pretty productive. Zero Wing Neo Geo port is nearly complete! Just a few bugs and CD support to wrap-up then we're done!. Here's a level show reel. youtu.be/bExxCZtayNk

So yesterday I ran into some Square Enix playlist on YT so I listened to it for a while. Then: "I wonder how their sound format looks like on and if one can make a pattern viewer?" Today (with some AI assistance) youtu.be/UiyhHTa8Jdg
