@Luke_Freauff hit the 1,000 lb club this off season! He spent close to 2 months on crutches last Summer, but has battled back! He works, and then keeps working. Effort will never let you down. Proud of you son!

No “they” don’t say. Malcolm Gladwell made up a lie that it takes 10k hours The authors of that study had to come out and deny Gladwell’s abuse of their research, but Warner prefers opinions over facts

They say becoming great at anything takes 10k hours & where many spend that much time THROWING a football, few spend that much time TRAINING their mind to process information & tie a physical element to it! Thus we are seeing guys that are more gifted physically than ever before but when the MAJORITY of the position STILL relies on the MENTAL PROCESSING they get passed by or left behind at the higher levels because this is something MANY are not FORCED to Learn & Do from an early age (like lesser athletes like myself HAD to do)!

I really love & want to have good football talks on here, but it can be really hard with ppl creating narratives without understand “real” football: 1) You can be great in many ways, not only by physically being able to “do things others can’t do” 2) Just throwing out a stat to say someone is better, without understanding what really makes someone better 3) Creating narratives about guys without having watched their career up close and personal! You can’t come in after the fact, dissect stats and what they “might” mean & then make definitive statements - it’s ok to say, “I’m not really sure bc I didn’t watch enough of them to truly know”!
