Today, we remember the 97 men, women and children who tragically lost their lives at Hillsborough on April 15, 1989.
Our thoughts remain with everyone affected by the tragedy.
They will never be forgotten.

@mexicola25 @rebekkarnold @dm31951670 I think you'll find although the Liverpool players covered themselves in glory, a lot of their online fanbase certainly did not. The ones I actually know were fine though.

@rebekkarnold @dm31951670 I'd have sympathy, but considering how obnoxious and dismissive Arsenal fans were towards Liverpool last season, and how obnoxiously full of themselves for 90% of this season they have been, I think this is just a corrective dose of karma coming their way.

@NotSoSkinnyPete @Flav_Bateman It's quite logical. I enjoy the new league phase of the UCL, as you now see big teams play each other earlier in the competition. But it has come at the detriment of the EL. UEFA may make further changes if the EL and ECL are dominated by PL teams, as I suspect they will be.

@NotSoSkinnyPete @Flav_Bateman They do indeed. Although 2 of the 3 European trophies are lower tier, as a result of UEFA's expansion of the UCL. With the financial power of the teams in the PL, it's now more impressive to finish in the top half of the PL and trophyless than it is to win the EL or ECL.

@daniel_godleman @Flav_Bateman That’s not what Spursy is is it. It is a slur that we get close then blow it which Arsenal do way more than us. How many European finals have they lost? How many times have they been top of the league in March but not won it?

@91boof @NotSoSkinnyPete @Flav_Bateman A couple of Community Shields, which is sadly thanks to UEFA now harder to achieve than what has now become of the Europa League.
