I read the full story just now. I still think the man was justified. The kids were horsing around and splashed water on his wife. The man reacted by grabbing the kids neck and threw him on the ground, ONCE. That’s it. He didn’t punch him. He didn’t kick him. He threw him on the ground once. He got a FELONY for that??? WTF? Judges give lighter sentences to people that stab someone than they do to that guy. He should have apologized and that’s it. Overzealous prosecution in this case. Meanwhile you have repeat offenders getting off with a slap on the wrist. The criminal justice system is not distributing sentences appropriately. Repeat violent offenders need to serve more time in jail than that guy.
