I've put a lot of time and thinking into this Builder Ecosystem Growth Fund proposal. Ambitious? Yes. Necessary? I believe so. Grant systems often fail because they’re slow, political, inefficient, or disconnected from actual builders. The BEGF proposal is an attempt to fix that. It’s not perfect, but it’s a step toward something the any ecosystem actually needs. With @XAODAOLLC getting closer to the 1,000 member quorum, we’re entering a new phase: → how capital gets allocated on #XRPL will be defined by the community. This also means the first frameworks we put forward will define the system for years to come. BEGF is a community- and builder-first investment approach: focused on real output, accountability, and sustainable ecosystem growth. I’m looking for: → builders → founders → operators who want to collaborate and submit this as a collective. If you care about how #XRPLedger evolves, this is the moment to step in. Together, we can set the precedent for how grants empower builders on XRPL for years to come. Have a read, share your thoughts, and let’s build something that actually works together 🛠️ Full proposal 👇 drive.google.com/file/d/1ZfxcYy…

WMDs were in Iraq. You can check our Veterans Affairs website for programs that help OIF and OEF veterans who were exposed to the toxins of Chem/ Bio war weapons in those engagements. To answer your question, that is because the enemy of my enemy is my friend/ dance with the devil attitude is a thing countries do. It's like macro expected utility or international political economy. Dont think Germany is just dragged into this because of the USA, Germany has made itself a target of its own just by existing, simply put, it's thr nature of thevl game.

@MindOfRaemi Are those nuclear weapons in the room with us right now along with the WMDs Irak had? If the current regime is so bad, why did the US help to install it in the first place? I am in general super curious why today's villains are always Americas friends from last week...

No sir, they are being bombed in order to roll back and deny their ability to launch nuclear weapons at the USA and its interests wherever they may be, even in Germany. A peaceful and friendly Iranian regime would be the greatest nuclear deterrent for the West, and we should focus our efforts on that. The quicker this happens, the quicker we achieve stabilization, where energy prices can rapidly fall.

@daniel_wwf Unfortunately, the issue with today's American youth invoking violence upon each other doesnt equate to Islamists killing random innocent people in the name of Allah, in order to perpetuate the establishment of a caliphate in Germany.

@daniel_wwf 8 terror attacks in the past five years. I would say the war is already in your homeland. If you dont fight it in theirs, they will fight it in yours.

The US invaded another country without consulting with any other nation, after telling us for 2 decades that Iran would have a nuke "soon" and then crying about a defense coalition not joining an offensive operation. I thought this war was won two weeks ago? Sounds a bit like the Russian playbook to me.

@daniel_wwf Maybe Germany and its European counterparts should have been picking up their slack instead of trying to get a foot infront of America to trip them up. We didnt have to be here like this, your leaders chose that.

My premise is that this is smoke and mirrors to trick people into accepting this as a good thing, while the government will abuse this in the near future to crack down on people they don't like. A mechanic they have used before. See ofcom vs 4chan. It is sold as "protect the kids"

@Vet_X0 @daniel_wwf Daniel's premise is that we want to empower parents to protect their own kids. If that's what we're trying to do, not trusting parents makes no sense.

When ripple becomes a bank. @JoelKatz @Vet_X0 # XLS-92: Mandatory Custodial Settlement for Regulated Assets **Title:** Mandatory Custodial Settlement for Regulated Assets **Author:** JDP **Created:** March 2026 **Status:** Conceptual / Draft **Related Amendments:** XLS-80 (Permissioned Domains), XLS-81 (Permissioned DEX), XLS-85 (Token Escrow), Multi-Purpose Tokens (MPTs) ## 1. Abstract This amendment introduces a mandatory "Custodial Mode" for assets classified as regulated RWAs or securities. When enabled (via issuer flag or domain rule), transfers, offers, payments, and settlements of such assets **must** route exclusively through designated licensed custodians. Decentralized consensus-based P2P/DEX/AMM paths are bypassed for these assets, while the XRPL remains the immutable ownership registry. The goal is to enable full compliance with securities/custody regulations (e.g., omnibus accounts, override keys, reversibility) while preserving XRPL speed, transparency, and XRP utility. ## 2. Motivation - Institutional tokenized assets (stocks, bonds, funds) require regulated custody models (e.g., DTC-style omnibus, licensed trust companies) to satisfy AML/KYC, reversibility, and investor protection rules. - Current permissioned features (XLS-80/81) are opt-in and still use on-ledger decentralized settlement. - Pure decentralized enforcement risks overlap with broad patents (e.g., low/zero-trust transfers). - This creates a hybrid path: on-ledger proof + mandatory custodian gate, similar to Nasdaq/DTC or Onyx. ## 3. Specification ### 3.1 New Flags (on MPTs / Issued Currencies) Add flags to Asset objects (MPTs / fungible IOUs): - `asfCustodialMode` (bit 0x10000): If set by issuer, asset requires custodial settlement. - `asfRegulatedRWA` (bit 0x20000): Explicit flag for securities classification (enforces CustodialMode if not already set). ### 3.2 Custodian Designation - Issuers/domain admins specify one or more **Custodian Addresses** (via new SetOption or Domain metadata field). - Custodians must be XRPL accounts controlled by licensed entities (self-attested or credential-verified via DIDs/XLS-70). ### 3.3 Transaction Behavior Changes When `asfCustodialMode` is set on an asset: - **Payment / OfferCreate / OfferAccept / TrustSet / AMMDeposit/Withdraw** involving the asset **fail** with new `tecREQUIRES_CUSTODIAN` if not routed via custodian. - New transaction type: **CustodianTransfer** (or extend Escrow/Payment): - From: Any account holding the asset - To: Destination - Via: Designated Custodian address (must sign or pre-approve via multi-sig/override key) - Optional omnibus handling: Custodian can batch/aggregate movements internally off-ledger, then commit net changes on-ledger. - Override keys: Custodian can include `tfOverride` flag to reverse/freeze for compliance (extends existing freeze/clawback). ### 3.4 Ledger Entry Changes - New ledger node type: **CustodianConfig** (linked to asset issuer/domain) - Fields: CustodianList (array of addresses), OverrideKey (multi-sig pubkey), ComplianceMetadata ### 3.5 Pseudocode (rippled logic sketch) ```cpp // In transaction engine (simplified) if (asset.hasFlag(asfCustodialMode)) { if (!tx.isViaCustodian() || !custodianList.contains(tx.custodian())) { return tecREQUIRES_CUSTODIAN; } // Validate custodian signature / override authority if (!validateCustodianAuth(tx)) { return tefBAD_CUSTODIAN; } // Apply net movement only (custodian handles internal netting off-ledger) applyNetTransfer(src, dst, amount); } else { // Normal decentralized path applyStandardTransfer(...); }

@JoelKatz These solutions already exists today. Parents are just too lazy to deal with it. Why am I being punished because Amenda from Montana is unable to figure parental controls in 2026?

@daniel_wwf A field that parents could set on a user to pass their kid's age on to applications that can do something useful with it would have been a good step towards helping parents do their job.
