Something thats helped me become more consistent is focusing on what I can do relatively effortlessly for 3, 6, 12+ months without it feeling like a drag then doing it. Better that than being rah rah consistent for 2 weeks then dropping it all

A lot of guys want to know the secret to making real money in the trades. There is no secret. Show up every day, deliver what you promised, treat your crew right, and keep your word. Do that long enough and the money becomes inevitable.

Progress is rarely dramatic in real time. It usually feels slow and unimportant. But small consistent effort builds real change. Even when it doesn’t feel like it.

A habit I've noticed in successful people: They take breaks. They know that there is a time to push and a time to recharge, and you can’t perform well if your battery’s constantly being depleted.

The older you get, the more you realize that peace is more valuable than attention. You stop trying to impress everyone. You stop arguing with strangers. You stop chasing validation. And you start protecting your time, energy, and mind.

@tasornp Best thing I've done is focus on things I can and want to do daily for months if not years. If you're trying to rush it you might be after the wrong thing. The goal is to love it so much you dont care if it works or not let alone how long it takes to work

I recently came across a compelling article on financial freedom and wealth-building insights that challenges one of the most common myths in personal finance: becoming a millionaire isn’t about luck or magic, it’s about discipline, consistency, and simple math. One story that stood out was about a self-made millionaire who achieved financial independence without a high income, elite education, or extreme savings habits. Instead, the focus was on steady investing, patience, and letting compounding do the heavy lifting. Key takeaways that resonated with me: - Wealth-building is more about behavior than brilliance - Consistency beats intensity, small, regular investments matter - Financial freedom is about generating income that covers your lifestyle, not just hitting a number In my own career, this reinforces an important principle: long-term thinking always wins. Whether you're building a business, investing in skills, or managing finances, the real advantage comes from sustained effort over time, not quick wins. It also made me reflect on how often we overcomplicate success. The fundamentals; discipline, patience, and clarity, are simple, but not easy. Curious to hear your perspective: What’s one financial or career principle that has had the biggest impact on your journey?

No one wants to hear it but you will have to *work* on everything that is worth having in life. Your career, your relationships, your health - whatever it is... So if you don't want to work for it, be prepared to be very disappointed in the quality of everything you get.

One pattern I've noticed about successful people is that they are obsessive about getting around other ambitious people. People who move fastest in their careers intentionally buy proximity to others who are ahead of them. They understand that proximity is power.

The older I get, the more I realize how dangerous it is to keep pushing things off. You tell yourself you’ll start next week, next month, next year. Then suddenly a lot of time has passed and nothing has changed. An entire life can be built (or pass you by) in tiny moments.
