See Guehi wey Liverpool suppose sign, they let Mancity have him easily, ok maybe his salary is too much but why are you not all over Calvin Bassey or even Senesi for a short term fix. The Ambitions of Liverpool most times is just questionable to me. I’ll like to meet Michael

Semenyo is one of those easy sure-fire bet signings. Rapid, can dribble and strike the ball easily well off either foot. Good for bucket loads of goals

Douglas Luiz is a buildup master, a specialist metronome that specializes mostly in the first and second phases. nice backup option for Enzo Fernandez, adds extreme levels of pausa & pockets manipulation to the pivot. Little loan player, Anything aside that is a no for me.

@fahdahmed987 You mentioned the reason there about resting caicedo cause we want to compete on all fronts And we can't do that with essugo and Santos please We need quality depth for the time being

This is a very confusing move considering that Chelsea don't exactly need a defensive midfielder right now. We've already got Caicedo, Santos, and Essugo (who has just returned from injury). Secondly, this is not the pressing issue with the squad - we need depth at center-back. The only logic I can see is that Chelsea want to rest Caicedo more and wants a quality back-up considering we're competing in all fronts. However, we already have Santos, so I'm not sure what the need is to get Luiz. I like him as a player but just don't see why this was the deal we've gone for. Maybe there's something that I'm not seeing. He adds depth but doesn't exactly move the needle much in terms of squad quality.

🚨 EXCL: Chelsea considering move to sign Douglas Luiz on loan for remainder of season. 27yo midfielder currently with Nottingham Forest from Juventus but #CFC see as system fit; Brazil int’l would add quality, experience, depth until summer @TheAthleticFC nytimes.com/athletic/69910…

@tapintobs Porro is bad defensively and he's been costing us points 100%. He's still an elite technician, what I saw during the years is so clear. When he's on form he's arguably our best creator, and i need him to get back to that level.

Finally I'm seeing him getting back to good form. In the last 2 games he's been so good. He's crossing the ball like the elite technician he is, and that improves us massively. We can't play to a high level without him. The benefits he brings are much more than the negatives.

Yildiz - Alvarez - Saka Eze Rice - Zubimendi Calafiori - Gabriel - Saliba - Timber This is quadruple level territory.
afcstuff@afcstuff

🚨 @David_Ornstein on potential future incomings: “Arsenal were considering Julian Alvarez in the summer, his name came up. You could see that sort of player coming into Arsenal. If there’s going to be outward manoeuvring, then there is definitely scope for an arrival [in attacking positions].” “I think right-back is an interesting area for Arsenal that has probably been on their long-term agenda. It wouldn’t surprise me if they’re looking around there. Names? I don’t know.” “That [attacker & right-back] & adding another central midfielder for depth - Norgaard appears to have been sensible, but you don’t know how long that will continue.” [Sky Sports Transfer Show]

Everything that was good about United at the weekend is everything that Arsenal will be all over. Fernandes will not receive that time between the lines. Gabriel and Saliba play on the front foot as opposed to the two City centre-backs learning their trade. Arsenal will set a strong rest defence to limit the counter-attacking threat, where Fernandes will not be afforded the room he had at Old Trafford. We are delighted to see him higher up the pitch, that's where he impacts the game consistently. What can match the impact of the outcome is the defensive shape and the energy shown by United against City. Arsenal have strong connections all over the pitch and expect United's compact 4-4-2 to be tested as Arsenal move it around, while importantly offering a constant threat in behind.
