Creepy old man struck again at the gym today. A little background info about him: he’s over 60, weird, will sneak up on you from behind and start touching your biceps, loves to stare, and approaches you to compliment your body in a pedo way. He approached me and kept asking why I’m mad at him, why I’m ignoring and always avoiding him and why do I look so serious. He got all defensive when I said I hated his energy and presence. He started yapping about how a lot of people like him and BEG to work out with him…💀 Mhm, definitely… I told him he was weird. He then proceeds to thirst over my waist, thinking he’d “brighten up” the mood, and started giggling like an idiot. He also motioned with his hands like he wanted to grab me. Yes, he left me alone after seeing I wasn’t going to entertain his goblin looking ah. Ew. LEAVE ME ALONE. I CAME TO WORK OUT IN PEACE.

Growing up in Miami, I didn’t know how good I had it. I always said, “I’m never moving back here!” Fast forward 10 years, after living in Dallas, NYC, and Boston…spending significant time in SoCal and Colorado… I can tell you hands down Miami is the best place to live by far. The people here are genuinely so happy. Everyone is so friendly. It is the perfect mix of both casual and glamorous. There is anything and everything to do (except hike I suppose). And the best part is nothing is more than 20 minutes away by car. The health and wellness offerings are second to none. The shopping is world class. There are constantly people here visiting providing endless opportunities to connect with others. And the best part, is is a melting pot culture. Anyways, to my younger self who swore she’d never move back, psych! I’m loving Miami more and more every day. ☀️
