A French woman described Israel’s genocide: “We found a mass grave in Gaza containing 300 people. Small children killed with their hands tied behind their backs. Then they come out and say that Israeli soldiers are the most moral soldiers in the world.”

The Bible couldn’t be more clear: homosexuality is so wicked that God incinerated entire cities because of it.

I should add that it’s only Paul who says these things are not required anymore. The 12 apostles and James did not share this view because Jesus never did away with the law and sabbaths. He kept them as an example for us to follow. And He said we should not suppose He came to do away with the law…

I understand what tot mean. God is outside of time, but we aren’t. We are spirits in a physical body so we are still tied to time and space. Everything we do in our worship of God, imo, has both a spiritual and physical meaning and action. The two go hand in hand. That’s why Jesus had to come in the flesh, in time, and die for us. It was primarily a spiritual act of redemption yet He had to do it in the physical as well. Because we are both spirit and body. Otherwise He wouldn’t have to come, just redeem us from heaven. That’s how I see the Sabbaths and Feast days. Their primary meaning is spiritual and point to what Christ did, but there is still the physical observation of them which is required to make the significance complete. Holy Communion is a spiritual remembrance but we were commanded to physically remember it with bread and wine/grape juice. The spiritual and physical go hand in hand as one complete thing.

It’s growing on me, I admit. However I wish I could get my battery life back which I had on previous versions of iOS Btw I’m glad you are here on Twitter still. I was following you on Mastodon too because loads of Apple devs and users went there. However my account got suspended yesterday because they didn’t like some of my posts. I thought Mastodon was free and open source but it’s not. Only the code is but the platform censors anyone who doesn’t agree with their opinion on matters. Thankfully you and literally the rest of the planet are here on X. I’ve been enjoying so much here I even subbed to Premium Basic. Mastodon could have received that support if they were pro free speech but they lost out to Elon because they are anti free speech. Their loss is Elon’s gain. Talk about them shooting themselves in the foot! 🤣

So? Jesus renewed the covenant He had with His people. Except this time instead of writing the law/commands on stone and paper He will write them on our hearts. Same law/commands. Just written elsewhere. And of course no Levitical sacrifice since Jesus is the Lamb that takes away the sin of the world and no additional sacrifices are required. “New covenant” is not a correct translation of the Hebrew. It means renewed covenant. Like the new moon is not an entirely newly created moon every month. It’s the same moon but it is renewed to being full. The new covenant is the Renewed Covenant. God dies on the cross to annul the first marriage and rises from the dead to marry His bride again but under a Renewed covenant. Same wife. Same laws. Same husband. But this time all sin is paid and we will remain faithful to Him.

@bikerbutter @GaryHuerta12 @oliverburdick I stand corrected, at least partially. But it’s obvious we’re talking about biblical manuscripts. Who would want to include sectarian rules? That should be obvious. But for example Jesus quoted Enoch as scripture. So there are some books which should be included

BREAKING: President Trump is standing up for persecuted Christians in Nigeria! American soldiers have gone to Nigeria to help Christians who have been viciously murdered and persecuted for their faith. They targeted the Islamic terrorist responsible for killing and brutalizing so many Christians. Last night, U.S. forces—in close coordination with the Armed Forces of Nigeria—hunted down and eliminated ISIS leader Abu-Bilal al-Minuki and the rest of his terrorist cell. These were the very monsters responsible for planning attacks, taking hostages, and slaughtering innocent Christians. Our soldiers are delivering justice and bringing hope to persecuted believers halfway around the world while keeping Americans safer too. Thank you President Trump for standing up for persecuted Christians!

@bikerbutter @GaryHuerta12 @oliverburdick God seems pretty specific about when to keep it. He tells us the month, day and time of day as well as the duration and what we are to do. Why would He specify all that if it wasn’t important? Like the two sons of Aaron who offered incense at the wrong time. God killed them.

@danielfgom @GaryHuerta12 @oliverburdick Of course they're important but not a calendar date important. God exists outside of time my friend, surely you must know this. God isn't in adherence to our calendars. We need to observe God's festivals and feasts yes. We're just not locked into a day when we have to do so

@bikerbutter @GaryHuerta12 @oliverburdick It’s not a thousand different manuscripts. It’s the same manuscripts but multiple copies of them because as a scroll became too old to use they preserved it while using a new copy. Over time you get thousands of copies
