Great work all round here. Succinct update from #oufc, brilliant as always from @Join_OxVox getting the event on and superb work from @bbcoxfordsport as these things tend to be a technical nightmare!

@jaydyer28 And we haven’t come out of it too badly overall tbf. Kids football has taken over this season. Can’t wait till it’s Sundays!
English

@danielfreeman83 No I mean the kids playing is more important or should be so unfortunately nature of the beast they may miss a few away games a season pal money controls football and tv money is a big part of that
English

Oh good 👎🏻. So those with kids (boys 7-11, all girls) who play football in Ox will have a decision to make. Not the first time but not fair is it really, esp when this could be season defining.

TV CHANGE: Oxford United's away game at Derby on April 18 moved to a 1230 kick-off. (It means this weekend's trip to Southampton is the final Saturday 3pm away game of the season.) #oufc
English

@StueyGardner Yep, would do as we’d have a 9:30 kick off. Made it to Leicester by 1:30 before. Kids games are generally done within an hour
English

@danielfreeman83 You making Derby away anyhow unless they don’t get bathed / showered? Not a pointed question - just an interested one.
English

@MRoberts21814 Yer bigger boys in the press would rather go to the KP or Hawthorns though than the 3-sided Kass
English

@danielfreeman83 I think you can be shocked and horrified if them two go down whilst not hating the fact Oxford would stay up.
I mean this is the nicest possible way, if them two go down, that’s the story and rightly so. No one would give any hatred to oxford for staying up.
English

Here’s the table from Jan 17. It shows how bonkers the league is that a solid return from 13 games only leaves you 14th on 17 points. Proves that the recent run only gives a chance. But that’s more than most are still giving us now. MSM will hate it if we stay up. #oufc

@MRoberts21814 They’ve already started mate. The absolute shock and horror if your WBA’s or Leicester go down and shitty Oxford stay up
English

@danielfreeman83 Think you have a real chance now mate. Was impressed when I watched vs PNE. Could have had a few more.
But give over with the “MSM will hate it if we stay up” 😂😂😂
English

@62mphMatt @BBCOxford @Brucey1 @mandyonair Lovely stuff.....ping me a message this time next week mate

@Treu_red Your argument would work better if you'd even bothered to see how Oxford and Oxfordshire are currently split politically.
English

I see all the Tories from Oxford have something else to be fake-outraged about this morning. Irony is, they're using a dead girl's tribute to slate one of our players they dislike. Probably wouldn't care less if it wasn't Sam Smith. As disrespectful as not clapping 👍

Love the fact that @oufc_oufc came to our studios in his full #oufc attire. Especially seeing as our colleagues down the road try and claim Henley as theirs as well. There is no way Danny was going there first! bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

We’ve had three match days when results have pretty much gone our way, today hasn’t. To get a point when we weren’t at our best is a positive. Keep the positivity around the club lads. We’re fighting, that’s all that we can ask for #oufc

Ahead of another huge game tomorrow, relive this #oufc win against Charlton from April 2019 🙌
Two great strikes from Curtis Nelson and Luke Garbutt earned a 2-1 comeback victory on a baking hot Good Friday, securing mathematical safety in League One with 3 games to spare ✅

Our keepers are wearing black armbands tonight in memory of Amelia Aplin, who sadly passed away whilst playing for Oxford United's academy on the weekend.

@BanburyUnitedFC This is incredibly sad news. Simon and his dad, Dave, were always so welcoming and helpful when coming to "Station Approach" as a young reporter. RIP Simon

Simon was a dedicated and long-serving member of the Banbury United family. A ball boy, he even became the club’s mascot throughout the 1990s and remained a loyal home and away supporter for many years, including following the women’s team. Simon had also volunteered his time as assistant kit man.
Simon’s passion and commitment to the club will always be remembered.
Our thoughts are with his friends, family and all those who knew him.

@robbie210793 You’re absolutely right here btw. 2 good weeks has seen us come from nowhere to be in within a shout, in the same was 2 bad weeks can drag you into the shit
English

Madness that some of our fans are confident that we’re practically safe. 1-2 weeks of results go against you and you’re dragged straight back in.
