Dr ashraf died yesterday @dakatrashraf 😣 ashraf He was a strong believer in the project @Aleph__Zero And put everything have into this project, but it turned out that this project is owned by A gang of scammers stole investors' money and sold it to them Poor Ashraf was deeply hurt by this matter because he had bet on it and was one of his strongest believers, so it was a great shock to him and he suffered a lot before he passed away. Hey everyone, I am making this announcement today to let you know that I will be leaving the Cardinal Cryptography team on the 30th of June. It was a pleasure to serve you all, and I met some lovely people in this community as well. I wish only the best for both Aleph Zero and Common and their futures. It's a shame that I have to go, but it was necessary for a variety of reasons. Thanks for always supporting me and showing me love. I will remain on this account but it will be for personal use moving forward. Feel free to DM me about anything! Cheers ❤️

@Alex_Strz @MHiesboeck I was about to say...I'm the Head of Community — it'd be strange for Martin to believe that I ever, in any way had access to the Aleph Zero Foundation treasury or any other funds which were not related to community initiatives.

@MHiesboeck Its a difficult time for A0 holders, but your words are defamatory and show 0 understanding of what has happened in the last few days. Are you familiar with any companies where a community moderator in an org has access to funds that they can steal? This is ridiculous.

Azero Schmazero  It is a sad week for Aleph Zero fans, and that includes us. We do not yet know what exactly happened here, but it seems to have been greed and mismanagement that tanked the token. Adam Gagol, Nick Fisher and Daniel Ozluer seem to have stolen significant funds, and the price has crashed. Adam Gagol posted on X last week that he's leaving the team. There is no confirmation and proof yet, some have already complained  to the Swiss regulator, and social media is abuzz with speculation. We have always been huge fans of the tech, based on our intimate conversations with Dr. Matthew Niemerg, who is behind most of the excellent privacy tech Azero has developed. This rug, if confirmed, isn’t just devastating for investors and our ego, it’s also a setback for privacy tech, since it removes an important critic of zk-proof and a great alternative. However, the brewing scandal seems to have nothing to do with Azero technology or the chain, and we are confident that it will be saved (bought up) by someone else. So for the intrepid, this is a chance to buy AZERO on the cheap and wait for the bailout.
