Geothermal energy allows communities to harvest their own clean energy- with strategic impact for Europe. It brings lithium to our economy, clean heat to greenhouses & industry, and new sources of base energy (storage). It’s great that a EU alliance for 🌍’s power is emerging.

Under the law that Parliament approved,longer trucks can drive cross-border between supportive EU countries. Special weight allowances prepare for 0️⃣ emission trucks whilst other EU work helps rail to compete. Longer trucks are part of our whole journey to sustainable transport.

We are 1️⃣ step further in giving a European boost to transport via longer trucks. Today, the @Europarl_EN voted in favour of this quick win to cut our fossil fuel use and reduce congestion on our roads. This is a good deal for climate and economy.

@yara’s plant in Sluiskil is a pioneer in capturing co2, storing it in Norwegian seas. We will help to ensure success. We support early clarity on the framework for storage in 🇳🇴 and will explore, with industry, steps to make low-carbon fertilizers a business case for customers.
