Most investors check their portfolio hoping the price went up. Dividend investors check their account waiting for the next deposit. Same stock market. Completely different mindset.

Some of the fittest friends I have seem to be missing the mark on the sleep optimization thing. If you can’t sleep without the perfect temp, light, noise, time, meal time… you have made yourself weak and fragile. Resistance training prepares us for sub-optimum conditions right? That applies to more than just weights. We should also be able to eat different foods on different schedules when needed. Sleep at different times in different places. The goal is agility in all the aspects.
Marc Lou@marclou

My Resting Heart Rate is up 10% since I left my Eight Sleep mattress. AC is blasting at 18° in the hotel room, but I still feel too hot. It's very hard to maintain a healthy routine while traveling.

The gym’s closed but it doesn’t matter. I’ll train in the park. I’m dogfooding my fitness ranking app every single day, pushing it through real workouts, real routines. Right now I’m integrating Apple Health with Rork, and honestly… GPT-5.5 keeps surprising me with how far this can go. At this pace of AI development, in the near future AI will be able to build almost all B2C mobile apps. The most important thing now like I’ve said many times is how to market them and how to distribute them. 😌

I don’t know how many AI calorie tracker apps are already on the App Store, but this guy is still making $81k/month with one, it’s absolutely a distribution skill issue.

I made $81,108 in April 2026 🍐CalBuddy - $81.1K Growth slowed down a little. For the first time since launching 9 months ago, most of my effort went into new ventures. I'm looking to use what I learned building CalBuddy for much bigger opportunities.

2 weeks of tiktok, posting almost daily, so far nothing budged. Plenty of ideas left to try while SEO still going on in the background.

I just created another TikTok account on this phone and holy it’s not shadowbanned either. I posted yesterday and overnight the first post hit 10k views (still growing), with 98% US audience. I’ve already made $66 in revenue at the time of posting this, across both of my apps. My guess is: if your views are low, there are two main possibilities either your content doesn’t resonate with a US audience, or you’re having VPN/proxy issues. 😌
Alex Nguyen@alexcooldev

Another US phone I just set up already has a video with 33K+ views (98% US). At this point, I’m pretty confident that if your account is healthy, the main factor affecting performance is content quality. If your content has the right elements value, CTA, and engagement hooks your average views will usually fall around 1K–50K (excluding virals, since those still depend on luck). Today I got 12 new trials from US users, and 6 converted into subscriptions. US users still have the best conversion rate. 🫡

Sr guys, I honestly don’t know this guy, I just had a man tell me he’s an influencer with over 1B views. If that’s true, then his conversion rate seems a bit low compared to his views.

in 2016 I launched Vocabulary for most of its life it was a side app, shipping small updates until it got traction 10 years in, it was an Apple Design Awards finalist and is our fastest growing app pretty wild to think about, especially considering all the apps I abandoned 🙈

@alexcooldev I spended 25€ -/+ and got banned within 15 minutes after doing everything, it probably was because I used NordVPN , will post everything in details later today

I forgot to add something very important: make sure to set the correct timezone to match the VPN you’re using. The US has multiple time zones, so you can’t have your device set to one timezone and your VPN in another, it will cause conflicts.

I'll say it again: China doing their visa-free policy is the most underrated strategic decision they made in recent years. Decades of Western propaganda painting the country as a dystopian hellscape, undone by people simply going there and using their own eyes. And now China is on track to become the most visited country in the world 👇

This really illustrates - once more - how catastrophically Western media still misreads China. Jiang Xueqin's narratives are **completely unaligned** with those of the Chinese government. So much so that the guy was literally detained and deported from China in 2002 after being accused of spying on behalf of the West (edition.cnn.com/2017/11/23/opi…, although he later came back). So much for being "China's useful idiot"... And, if you read the CNN article linked above, which he wrote, he describes China's media as "enabling tyranny and corruption" and advocates for "America’s free media" which he says "is the source of American power and progress." Again - never seen a "China useful idiot" write something like that... The truth is that Jiang is a creature of U.S. media, top to bottom. He is a Canadian citizen who is a Yale English Literature graduate. He broadcasts exclusively in English, on YouTube, to an English-speaking Western audience. No meaningful media presence in China that I'm aware of. And his actual theories would sound utterly bewildering to most Chinese people, let alone Communist or Marxist ones. He speaks about topics like the Illuminati secretly running the world from Jerusalem, the Sabbatean-Frankists controlling Israel, the Freemasons controlling the American national security state, etc. Try pitching that intellectual universe in Beijing, let's see where that gets you 😅 Pretty much everything he's saying is recycled Anglo-American esoteric conspiracy theories with zero resonance whatsoever in Chinese intellectual life or the Marxist-materialist tradition. Jiang is, by every objective measure, a Western cultural product. It's frankly frightening that people can look at this man and conclude "oh, this is a Chinese narrative" - it betrays not only a profound ignorance of China, but also a near-total illiteracy about the West's own intellectual traditions. These are the West's stories. Not China's.

Say what you want about Cal AI, but you can’t say we don’t push boundaries. The same risk-tolerate, fast-paced culture that may set us back a few days is the exact superpower that caused us to reach $50M ARR in 1.5 years. They will love you as an underdog and hate you as a victor.

@cesaralvarezll Misleading. App is 9 years old, $2M seed round, +40 employees. No correlation between tiktok account and app revenue.

This budget app grew its TikTok account to 45K followers and racked up millions of views and likes using a simple format: Going out into the street and asking people questions. All you need is a phone, a mic, and a tripod. Spend a day recording and you’ll have enough content for an entire month. This approach works in any niche. For example: a gym app could ask people how much they train or bench. If you take marketing this seriously your app will succeed.

My first iOS app has been live for 3 weeks. Here are the stats so far 🚀 - 1,000+ downloads - $217 in revenue - $56 MRR - 5 active trials for the annual plan I’m not sure if these are “good” numbers but I’m really happy with the start. Let’s keep building.

@alexcooldev Obviously most guys that don't make it are not posting so you don't hear about them (survivorship bias). And then when you go outside your X bubble you realise 99% are normal people working 9 to 5.

Everywhere I look on X, people are hitting $100k, $500k, even $1M MRR 🚀 But I never feel pressured. Because honestly: - I’m making $600-$1k/day - Spending only $50/day - The rest, I invest - If I make more, great. If not, I just chill & keep building LOL Early stage = low pressure, high vibes 😌 PS: Nothing beats that dopamine hit from an RC sub notification.
