@faheem_munshi Yes I think so too! I am not an AI skeptic. I think it will change the workplace. However I do not think we are close to 90 second workdays as some people on X wants you to believe. AI has already changed the way I work and I think AI will be really benefital for the generalist

@danielpasg This is also going to be widely used at corporations and unfortunately triggering headcount reduction.

I get why Claude Cowork is so hyped. It feels like the first time we are seeing a really useful AI product. With that being said, it is not AGI. It is just a useful product to automate busy work.

So Sublime recently added some huge updates. The biggest one is DARK MODE! Excited for the upcoming MCP server too.

AI agents are so token-hungry. I keep reaching my limits all the time.

@mymind is such a refreshing app. Everywhere else in my note-taking and productivity, I am chasing efficiency. In Mymind, I am chasing mindful consumption and getting to know myself better. So refreshing!

@faheem_munshi Yes and that is excatly what I am saying. It is amazing at automating my busy work. A lot of that is things I consider as busy work or work about work. So I think it is great. I paid for the highest tier this month, but some people on social media overhype it.

@danielpasg Think about what you do manually every single day: → Organising downloaded files → Renaming and sorting documents → Moving things between folders → Repetitive copy paste tasks → Managing the same workflows over and over again Cowork handles all of it. Automatically.

Some productivity apps set up communities and forget that they exist and never update them. Not every app needs a community. If you can't maintain a community, there's no point in having one.

I love playing around with productivity apps, but I find myself going back to notebooks whenever I feel really stressed and overwhelmed. Apps are great, but I will always have a soft spot for my notebooks.

Planning and productivity are different things, something I've been thinking about a lot lately. One is about efficiency, the other is about finding time to do the things you want. They should be treated differently, and I think that distinction is important.

The crypto bros turned AI bros are why I struggle with AI. I use Claude Cowork and it helps me stay organized so I can focus on writing, filming, and creative work but it doesn’t mean I have a 90-second workday.

I'm wondering — what would you not outsource to AI agents?

So Raycast released a new app called Glaze that allows you to create apps. Does that mean that we don't need productivity apps any longer and you can just build the perfect app for yourself?

Recently I have really been enjoying Blitzit and Griply! Two really good task management apps.

Just recevied a cold email, "I hope you are well and business is booming". Interesting choice of words.

I test productivity apps, and even though AI is getting really exciting, the apps themselves are getting more and more boring.
