Just learned about Ken Isaacs' "Superchair" (1967). Built-in book rest, shelves, lamp, drink tray, and a seat back that folds into a bed. A place for "inventive work and the individual search for peace of mind", as he put it. It was meant for people to build it themselves, hence the almost unfinished look. Blueprints were published in Popular Science in 1968.

This was a brilliant answer from @harari_yuval on how AI might change the world. It's still far too early to tell, but this might become the most powerful technology ever created, so we should probably spend more time worrying about the implications of that and less time stressing over ROI every quarter. #Davos26 #WEF26

Just under 15 hours until we get to see if Episode 9 of Stranger Things is real or not so I thought I would add to this thread of quoted posts and add some more proof. For context, my theory is that episode 8 is all a lie, Vecna isn't actually dead, it was all a vision he put into the audiences head... we are the victims. Episode 9 will reveal the truth and what actually happened. These points below will show the inconsistencies and moments that just doesn't make sense. My best points are saved till last so please just stay with me and let me know what you think. First of all, why 7? Why the 7th of January? Well the number 7 just pops up too many times. - Will rolls a 7 in Season 1 - Will Byers the 7th Grader - 7 years since someone last drowned - Hopper has 7 years with his ex wife - Mike sounding like a 7 year old - Enzo's at 7 o'clock - 7 seconds between lightning - Screen goes black for 7 seconds after Steve falls - etc etc etc Now I know it is a stretch for 7 to be a significant number all the way back from season 1. However, every season has been posted on a significant date, so maybe it is not as much of a stretch to say they were going to post this episode on The Orthodox Christmas the SEVENTH of January. To add to this, the Duffer Brothers saying it will be a "dark Christmas"?? What has truly been dark this Christmas? NOTHING. Because the Christmas they are talking about, HASNT HAPPENED YET Next, in Season 5 there is a scene where Joyce is speaking to Will. She talks about him being 11 when he went missing. 11? Will went missing when he was 12? Surely his OWN MOTHER would know this. Something from season 4 that I am sure everyone is aware of, but thought that I would still mention. In the Hellfire Club DnD Campaign they fight Vecna. They all think he is dead and they killed him, but next minute he is back, and certainly not dead. Sounds almost familiar... In a previous post I noted that everyone was doing the same hand gesture as what Henry does during the graduation. Very strange. However, what I didn't notice was the colour orange. The colour here is meant to be green, we know this because of Nancy's novel. Also, Ted is literally holding a flyer with a green mortarboard on, so why are they wearing orange? Or why isn't the flyer orange? Also there is a yellow sign in this scene... COMPLETELY EMPTY. Why would someone be holding up an empty sign? In the epilogue, we see nothing of Vicky. The Duffer Brothers just brush it over there shoulder and said "they probably just broke up". HOWEVER, if I am correct and this is a vision from Vecna, maybe Vicky wasn't included in the epilogue because he never actually laid eyes on her so he doesn't actually know who she is. Why create a whole storyline of Robin and Vicky? Why create a whole storyline of Vicky not believing Robin, to then finding out the truth to just not being in the epilogue at all? In the epilogue, all the Wheelers have their hair almost identical to Henry. Now I know Holly doesn't, she has red hair. Some people think she did this to look like Max. Cute right? OR her hair is red because Vecna just remembers Max as having red hair so in the epilogue, Holly does too. Also in the epilogue we see Steve. Steve the baseball coach. Why baseball? Why baseball when in the last 5 seasons it has always been basketball? Well... Steve's iconic bat with the nails in, that's a baseball bat. Vecna has only ever seen Steve with a baseball bat. Vecna has no other information about him so it would make sense if he made us see him as a baseball coach instead of basketball. In the end credits of episode 8 we see a picture of Max. Next to it there is hand writing that says "JK95". In other words... JOKING, EPISODE 9 SEASON 5 FINALLY, the final scene of episode 8. To me the biggest giveaway. Max literally says to Mike "That's it? Comfort and Happiness?" IF THIS ISNT SCREAMING US IN THE FACE FOR EPISODE 9 THEN IDK WHAT ELSE IS. What did we get at the "end" of Season 5... COMFORT AND HAPPINESS. The story ends, everyone's moving on, no one dies, we think El did but then Mike explains that she isn't. LIKE we got exactly what Max is saying. "I thought that you were some kind of master story teller or something"... SO DID WE. We thought that the Duffer Brothers were master story tellers and then it just ended in 'comfort and happiness'. There are more points that I have mentioned in previous posts if you would like to read more. All my posts are quoted one after another and lead back to my original theory of the audience being Vecna's victims. I posted this theory over 24 hours before episode 8 was even released btw. However, the inconsistencies throughout the whole show, especially this season is just so strange and weird... like it doesn't belong, like it isn't real. Excited to see what happens next. #conformitygate

Believe me or not, but it's pretty weird that the official Stranger Things account posted this of Mr Clarke. For the entirety of Stranger Things, clocks has been a massive part of the series. Notice the clock here is 7 minutes past one (07:01)... in other words THE 7TH OF JANUARY. This ontop of all the other details that point towards this date such as, the Duffer Brothers saying its going to be a "Sad Christmas" and it is the Orthodox Christmas on the 7th January, and so on and so on... SURELY they are telling us something!! Moving on... I saw something about the part where Steve nearly falls. They add a 3 secondish black screen here. A clear use of dramatic effect to give the purpose and make the audience process what's happening. However, what if this black screen is where the apparent 'Episode 9' starts. SURELY, if you put all the points of this overall theory together, there CANNOT be this many inconsistencies? #conformitygate

In the middle of difficult moments and self-doubt, I always come back to these six minutes from the “Pep Guardiola: Chasing Perfection” documentary not just as a Manchester City fan, but on a personal level too. I hope they motivate you. I hope they give you a thousand more reasons to support this man, this club, and these players with your whole heart. Thank you.

In general, you have the conversations you deserve to have. If a conversation is boring for you it’s up to you to take it to a more interesting place. You can usually be more spicy/daring than you think. Some entertaining Werner Herzog examples of this:
