@blairewhite I disagree with your opinion. It’s not controlling speech - it’s asking people to not use insults. A pretty reasonable request. And women’s sports aren’t being destroyed. Men aren’t transitioning to “just set records”. Women are still respected athletes across a range of sports.

Transphobia exists because “let me live my life how I choose” became “let me give kids sex changes, destroy women’s sports, and control your speech” in the blink of an eye.

I saw some Sleeping Peeties (Wallabies)…or maybe they were just Albino. I completed the 5k in a time I’m happy with. I bought my mum a surprise McDonalds breakfast. I picked up my sisters prescription without having to argue or be called a Karen.

I woke up without much motivation, but I found the joy in a lot of things today. I arrived early at ParkRun and played Pokémon Go for a few minutes. I saw Darth Vader Pug - well heard first. (It’s always a good park run when I see Darth Vade pug).

So I spent that 30 minutes judging the fashion in wedding and baby photos from the 80s 90s and now.

Mum went to drop food off at Beth’s. I went in the loft, started throwing things down to the bottom and ended up knocking the ladder over and getting stuck in the loft for 30 minutes with nobody in the house and no way to reach the ladder.

Normally, I “downplay” my life. I take something good, and add a “but” with some sort of negativity. But today, I made it through the first day back at work after the 6 weeks holidays even though I felt massively anxious. I took on challenges. I ran my club.
