In a rush to delist ADC by INEC chairman Amupitan, they wrote September 2026 as a date a case was filled by the plaintiff. This shows the amount of gross incompetence of INEC @inecnigeria making this sudden delisting of a legally constituted political party illegal. Shame!

Can Prof Josh Amupitan tell Nigerians where the court of appeal gave an order that the names of ADC Leaders should be struck out of the INEC Portal? Was there any time in history when ADC had no leaders? How can maintaining status quo ante bellum be interpreted to mean that the court ordered that ADC suddenly has no leaders? INEC, APC, and their cohorts will soon reap what they are sowing. If we survived military regimes in Nigeria, we would survive this despot in power.

To remove President Jonathan from office, Tinubu and his APC crooks went international, they reported him to Obama it's time for the leadership of ADC to do the same thing. Involve President Trump, there are enough materials to nail Tinubu. #INECIsACriminalOrganization.

As I wrote earlier this week, there is a grand plan to ensure that any competitive candidates or parties are excluded from #NigeriaDecides2027. Joash Amupitan's @inecnigeria & the judiciary are involved in a conspiracy with the ruling @OfficialAPCNg & the judiciary to bring that to fruition. The only "party" that they intend to allow on the ballot besides the incumbent is @GovWike's @OfficialPDPNig. That will not be much of an election. Whether there will be much of a country left thereafter we will find out. Those interested in the article can find it on this link 👇 guardian.ng/opinion/column…
INEC Nigeria@inecnigeria

Accordingly, in order to protect the integrity of the proceedings and the eventual determination of the substantive suit pending before the Federal High Court in Suit No. FHC/ABJ/CS/1819/2025, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED AS FOLLOWS: That Suit No. FHC/ABJ/CS/1819/2025, be and is hereby granted accelerated hearing in view of the Electoral Time Table released by the 4th Respondent. That the parties are hereby directed to maintain the status quo ante bellum and shall refrain from taking any step or doing any act capable of foisting a fait accompli on the court or otherwise rendering nugatory the proceedings before the trial court. Cost of N2,000,000.00 (Two Million Naira) is awarded in favour of the 1st respondent.” INEC’S OBSERVATIONS The Commission, after a careful consideration of the Judgment of the Court of Appeal in Appeal No. CA/ABJ/145/2026 and the processes filed by the parties in Suit No. FHC/ABJ/CS/1819/2025 pending before the Federal High Court in Abuja wishes to observe as follows: That the National Working Committee (NWC) of the Party (ADC) came into being following the National Executive Council Meeting of 29th July, 2025 after all the Mr. Ralph Okey Nwosu Exco Members resigned and ratified the appointment of the present members of the National Working Committee (NWC) led by Senator David Mark. That Hon. Nafiu Bala Gombe, who was the Vice-National Chairman, denied he ever resigned from the party and claimed that following the resignation of the Chairman of the party, Mr. Ralph Okey Nwosu, he Hon. Nafiu Bala Gombe, automatically ought to take over as the Chairman of the Party, being the only Vice-National Chairman left behind in accordance with the constitution of the Party. That Hon. Nafiu Bala Gombe, through an Originating Summons, instituted Suit No. FHC/ABJ/CS/1819/2025 before the Federal High Court in Abuja on 2nd September, 2025 for an order of injunction restraining Senator David Mark's group (2nd & 3rd Defendants) from parading themselves, dealing or continuing to deal with INEC as National Chairman and Secretary of the 1st Defendant (ADC), an order restraining INEC from recognising, dealing with or continuing to deal with the 2nd and 3rd Defendants as the National Chairman and Secretary of the 1st Defendant (ADC), an order directing INEC to recognise the Plaintiff (Hon. Nafiu Bala Gombe) as the acting National Chairman of the 1st Defendant (the ADC), an order of the Honourable Court restraining INEC from parading the 2nd and 3rd Defendants (Senator David Mark's group) as officials of the1st Defendant (ADC), etc. Along with the Originating Summons were Motion Ex Parte and Motion on Notice restraining INEC from recognising Senator David Mark's group. The motion ex parte was heard on 4th September, 2025 and the trial Judge, Justice Emeka Nwite, directed that the Respondents, including INEC, be put on Notice to show cause why the Motion Ex Parte should not be granted. The 2nd Defendant (Senator David Mark) decided to appeal against the order of Nwite, J. on 18th December, 2025 to the Court of Appeal, Abuja, challenging the jurisdiction of the trial court. On 12th March, 2026, the Court of Appeal in Abuja ( 6 months after the appeal was filed) dismissed the appeal of the 2nd Defendant and, in addition, made the above-quoted presevatory orders. The Plaintiff also filed another Motion Ex Parte and Motion on Notice on 15th September, 2025 before the trial court seeking to prevent the 1st Defendant (ADC) from holding, convening or summoning any Convention, Congress, Conference or meeting and to stop the 4th Defendant (INEC) from attending, monitoring, observing, or recognising any activities organised by the 1st Defendant pending the determination of the suit. That after the Judgment of the Court of Appeal, the Commission received letters from the solicitors to Senator David Mark's group and Hon. Nafiu Bala Gombe, making claims and counter-claims to the leadership of the party and making several demands on INEC

The vile man has revealed himself so early. Amupitan is the weapon fashioned against the Opposition. The war and the battle has began against the Opposition so early. First shot fired by Amupitan.

Josh Amupitan has revealed himself so early and all patriots will now train their eyes on him until he declares the electoral loss of his APC allies. Amupitan is now the current face of APC’s pre-rigged 2027 election and we must help him to be popular with Nigerians.

We reject @inecnigeria’s interpretation of the Court of Appeal ruling. We knew that INEC was being pressured by a government that has become jittery from the ADC’s rising momentum even in the face of its relentless assault on all opposition parties. INEC’s press statement is full of contradictions that fly in the face of both facts and reason. We shall clarify these contradictions for all to see. What is clear, however, is that INEC has caved to pressure and has chosen to side with the government against the Nigerian people. We are currently reviewing our options, and we shall make these known soon. Meanwhile, we call on our members and all Nigerians to remain steadfast as they await further directives. Nigeria is rising. ADC is rising.

Section 83(5) of the Electoral Act 2026 expressly states that “no Court in Nigeria shall entertain jurisdiction over any suit or matter pertaining to the internal affairs of a political party”. Yet, court orders are being weaponized to destabilize ADC opposition leadership.

Malam @BolajiADC, the Party & other private citizens should approach the Courts to challenge this attempt by @inecnigeria to disenfranchise Nigerians. They issued a Permanent Voter’s Card, so they can’t arbitrarily impose any validity conditions to it. Nothing to “Revalidate”!

It is troubling that such a significant national exercise like the ‘revalidation’ by @inecnigeria is only coming to the attention of Nigerians through a leaked memo — just days before its implementation. For an exercise of this magnitude, Nigerians deserve transparency. @inecnigeria must be careful not to lend itself to accusations of helping the ruling party rig the elections before the votes are even cast.

The hustle is real! A few hours after Governor Bala Mohammed indicated his plan to join the ADC, the APC dispatched its National Chairman and governors to Bauchi to beg him, promising to receive him on his terms. So, it takes only one defection to bring these people down from their haughty horses. But we know it is too late. Sorry. ADC is rising. Nigeria is rising.

Nigerians talk too much with no action. INEC is set to disenfranchise millions of voters before the 2027 polls, yet we're still just talking. Are we going to tweet and stay silent again? What's wrong with us? The Senate rejected e-transmission of results. Now INEC is heading the same way to rob our votes. Nigerians, what's really going on? We should already be mounting protests at INEC headquarters by now.
