@BonoboWanderer @thsottiaux I prefer 5.6 to fable - fable is better for a handful of things, copy, UI, maybe some deeper architecture (if you don't prompt it right) - I have found it to be incredibly reliable since 5.3 tbh (if you know what you're doing)

@dannolan @thsottiaux how does it compare to fable? Have we entered the era where you reasonably expect AI to work?

Hello. We have reached 8M active users across Codex and ChatGPT Work.
We are once again resetting the usage limits for all. And we continue to not have the 5h rate limit as well, allowing everyone to explore the boundaries of GPT-5.6 Sol and discover how ambitious you can be.
See you tomorrow for more updates on our growth!

5.6 sol growth is insane. the inference team has done heroic work to be able to support demand. we are going to move mountains to continue to scale, but it is possible there are some hiccups soon.

If Spotify had an "API usage" tab where they added up the hypothetical retail price of all the songs you'd listened to it would probably be some astronomical figure, but equally fictitious. It doesn't mean they are losing money on ever subscriber.

I'm paying $200 for $8,545.93 in usage. If you don't think the AI subsidization apocalypse is coming, you're mistaken.
