@Target I also noticed that this store took out the tables around the Starbucks. So you can buy a drink and spend money but you can't sit down or pee.

@Elrickane Years ago, I cut this little promo of Corman-produced New World movies when I worked for Joe Dante. I suspect we'll see a million more like it (and better) in the next week, but this one was mine. RIP to a true maestro.

The first week after I moved to Los Angeles, @elrickane gave me, a complete stranger who found him randomly after a Google search revealed a post of his on some backwater web forum, a ticket to a big 'School of Corman' event at LAFF. I knew then I'd never leave this place.

God damn. Blessed were we to live in a world touched by Roger Corman, icon and iconoclast, who loved making pictures for the joy of them almost as much as he loved making movies for the joy of proving to others that he could. The realest of real, a true saint of the cinema.
