10 years ago, nobody believed I could run a 100-mile race: • Age 35 • Weight 200+ pounds • Hadn't ever run a marathon • A one-mile run left me winded and limping I had doubts myself. But 7 years later, I ran 100 miles in 29 hours. Don't. Stop. Believing.

A few years ago, I realized some people leave you drained—and others leave you lit up. Here’s how I started building a circle that energizes me

As a Mom, I have so much advice and loving memories to share with my children. Sadly, we may lose this chance to share, without warning! This Ship30 cohort I’m writing a series of Love Notes to My Children, in hopes nothing will remain unsaid. @dickiebush @nicolascole77

I started Ship 30 for 30 ~4 years ago with @dickiebush. At the time, I made a commitment to myself I would do nothing else for 2 years. No hobbies. No side projects. Literally nothing except building Ship 30. 2 years later, Ship 30 had generated millions of dollars in revenue and become the fastest-growing and largest writing program on the Internet. So when those 2 years were up (they flew by!), I mentally committed to another 2 years. Same thing. No hobbies. No "oh-I'll-also-do-this-too" projects. The only side project I had at the time was Category Pirates, which had turned into a very lucrative paid newsletter & consulting biz. And at the start of 2023, I chose to exit it—cutting my income by 50% in the short term, because I knew that's what was required for our core biz to keep growing. That's when we started Premium Ghostwriting Academy. 5 months later, we had built PGA to millions of dollars in revenue. It eclipsed Ship 30's growth by a wide margin, and more than made up for the hit to my personal income I'd taken. And a year later, PGA became the core biz and Ship 30 became a smaller vertical. Last week, we crossed $15,000,000 in total revenue. All it took was 4 years of focus. The problem is, most people don't commit to 4 years of anything. (Most people can't even commit to 4 weeks of anything!) But I wanted to share this as a reminder: 4 years is nothing. And you would be SHOCKED at how much you can achieve with 4 years of commitment. I know I am.

I sold my company. The one I've been building every day for over 10 years. Lot of emotions. Most of them good. Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way.

@JonGordon11 It was time for a rereading! Heard you speak in Dayton Ohio years ago and didn’t laugh at a joke even though I thought it was funny. I was sitting in the second row, you saw me not laugh, shrugged, and went back to your presentation. That disappointed shrug made me lol

I'm running the last man standing Prairie on Fire backyard ultramarathon on Saturday. 1 hour for a 4.17 mile loop for as many times as you can. I'm aiming for 25 hours (104 miles). But every time I go into a race I feel undertrained. Here's why that's good:
