The #M48 #SevernCrossing is CLOSED eastbound between J2 (#Chepstow) and J1 (#Aust) to allow for emergency repairs to take place. The bridge is expected to be closed into the afternoon. Traffic is being diverted via the #M4 #PrinceOfWales bridge. Allow extra time.

@NM99854 When the wind speed drops below safe levels.it's currently gusting at 47 mph which is too high.
