Here's a thing "Asset rich but cash poor" was a term used a lot yesterday referencing the Farmer's demo against inheritance tax. Reminded me it's also used to describe elderly home owners, whose families are obliged to sell the family home to pay for the care of ageing parents.

@themerseytiger Fully agree. I think letting them go in the first place was a big mistake, unless both wanted to leave anyway. Also losing and not replacing Max Allen has affected us big time.

I know the club is in a difficult situation at the minute but not replacing these 2 was a terrible move
