I think our political system is flawed, putting power in the hands of those people that seek it (does this ever end well?!). But at least the Green Party is discussing real issues, with a focus on equity, social justice, and sustainability. So this is lovely to see. 💚

But Nick you don’t “interview those who use the word genocide”. I’m one of the most prominent British genocide scholars and I called Israel’s genocide in October 2023. I’ve had a lot of international media attention but my BBC total in 30 months is one interview on Radio Ulster.

Simple answer Zack. Our job is to report. We interview you & those you quote who use the word genocide. We do the same for those who disagree. We also report that no international court has yet made a judgment. Nor has the UN. That’s not me or the BBC taking sides or downplaying what’s happened in Gaza. It’s doing our job.

@stan_chow It's madness. Amad had two hands put on his shoulder, and Maguire put his arm across the player; they're either both penalties, or neither is. Amad gets very few decisions, and it's as if refs have already decided that the bar is higher where he's concerned. It's so frustrating.

Still can't believe how bad the officials were last night. The fact that it was United on the receiving end is obviously driving some of my frustration, but the inconsistency of decision-making is nuts. All fans want is a fair contest. Doesn't seem too much to ask for. 🤷♂️

Having spent a fair bit of time in the Gorton and Denton area as a kid, I find it insane that a far-right party would gain any support there. Decent people in diverse communities. And I just hope that the politics of division and fear doesn't get a foothold there. #VoteGreen
